I hate Times Square with a passion. I hate being around there, walking around there and even worst driving around that area. Everyone looking and stopping every damn 5 steps it feels like to take a stupid picture or some stupid character walking around or someone selling a damn mixtape. 
 
I'm a fast walker so it sucks when the crowd just stops on the sidewalk. It's cool that tourists like to stop and take pictures but I have to maneuver around them too. Also walk past all the employees trying to get people to buy NY bus tour rides. I try to walk in the street if it's clear.

They're not wrong, just mindless

Not really thread worthy, considering it's a NY post piece about NY tourists.. 
 
As a New Yorker I rarely ever set foot in Times Sq everything is overpriced SPECIALLY food and is way too crowded for my liking...downtown to me is just meh...the uptown scene to me is where it's at..
 
I'd much rather deal with the costume wearing, picture taking, salespeople of the new TS, than the junkies, hookers and muggers of the old TS.
 
i hate times square just because of all the tourists and it just gets crowded there... i can be making a simple walk to port authority but its time consuming walking through any time of the day :smh:

Who's to say it's not thread worthy tho? Just as easy to not post in here as it is to say something. People are having conversation about it, so obviously there is something to it...
 
I love taking a shorty to Times Square 4am after busting her *** for a few hours.

I've barely seen these "characters" out there.
 
Hate Times Square. Avoid it all the time. Going there just gets my blood pressure up.

I just wanna punch every idiot tourist standing in the middle of the ******* sidewalk.

And all those talentless hacks tryna sell their crap mixtapes too, they really tick me off.

Every time I go there I end up disrespecting at least one person. It's amazing I never got punched.

I dislike Times Square as well. Feels like a fake version of NY and all the tourists are there thinking that's what NY is really about :lol:
 
Wild, I love times square. I feel like a king there. i always get love there. I feed off that energy like electro. ****** always tryna give you cd's doh lol. Hella naked cowgirls and statue of liberty's. love walking in it, hate driving in it.
 
Honestly it's just like the strip, I get the same feelings when walking the strip.

I hate walking past the 7/11 and the McDonolds, hella sketch man.

Why are you getting upset at people taking pictures of your city when it's probably the first time they've been there or they don't visit often? :rolleyes

Like, you're in the middle of the city. Your car should be nowhere near those parts. If I do go to TS, which is rarely, I usually park around 59th st or 68th (close to work).

Crowds ain't my thing, so I'll never be there on a Friday or Saturday night. But I have bagged some decent yambz there though. In a sea full of women, it's too easy.

This. From the mass of people to the costumed performers that harass people, Times Square is truly one of the worst places in the city. Epitome of a tourist trap with the emphasis on trap.

Easy. Because they're holding up the sidewalk or impeding your path. Just step to the side.

This. You know how many times a group of at least 4 people just stops right in the middle of the sidewalk to take a photo like it's just them and people ain't got places to go?

One time I was down there a family of 6 just stopped in the ******* crosswalk to take a photo. Right there in the middle of the street. Just pushed my way through them.
 
whenever i'm in NY, there is a 50% chance i'll pass by Time Square, go see what's up in the footlockers, grab a coffe and what not.

Not a must by any means.

i'm in there for 1-2 hours top.
