Do not skimp on a Lawyer man get a good established criminal attorney preferably Italian or jewish to b honest..
15 to 60 days in County most likely with drug classes...you better let them know it was for personal use and not anything else or your done..
Dress and act like you care what happens to you man and bring some ppl with you with bond money so they can bond you out before the county bus gets there plus it looks much better to the judge if you have someone w u who cares

This is some info I looked up on the interwebz in regard to cocaine possession, I hope it helps:
The possession of even a small amount of cocaine (less than 1 gram) is charged as a felony offense in Texas, where offenders may be sentenced to as many as two years in state prison. Possession of more than 200 grams of cocaine can land you in prison for up to 99 years. Listen OP you are going to have to take a deal. Don't waste you money on a lawyer for a simple possession charge to get the same deal a public defender will get.
Yes the cops violated your rights (they do this all the time) but unless you have video of them doing it, it isn't relevant to you case (your word against theirs, you will always lose) hell even if you had video you would still lose. Tell them you are an addict and have a problem and want to change your life around.
They will give you probation and you will have to go to an outpatient program.

get a lawyer, have him fila a motion to suppress, if your account is true you will likely get the evidence thrown out

Ahh they will probably drop it done to a meanor and or they what they will do since this is your first offense is you plead guilty and get probabtion fines whatever, after you complete that they will wipe it from your record and you can expunge the arrest
You probably wont need a lawyer or find a cheap $500 off craigslist or somewhere and tell him this is all I want you to do. Tell him you want to plead guilty with the condition if I stay out of trouble during my probation and pay my fines they will wipe the charge off my record like it never happen.
They probably was watching the house and got you leaving..
If you got money then spill it in a lawyer but your best bet is to do what i said above and save your money to pay your fines instead of a lawyer
Your odds of beating this case depends on whether the stop can be justified ..example you turning the corner to wide
If you got money fight if not just do the above. If you want to be a jerk to them and try to beat the case go right ahead but since this is your first offense learn your lesson and find a drop spot in your car that the cops cant find

Public defender or a cheap $500 pre trial lawyer can get you a deal where it will get wipe of your record if you complete the terms. Just say your using and go to treatment classes 1 time a week court ordered

Hold on OP. You say as soon as they pulled you over they snatched you out? Your not telling the whole story, you probably was talking smack back to them which made them get defensive.
But if your story is true then you can get the case dismissed our they will probably offer the complete probation and it will erase off your record... I wouldnt even worry about hiring some big shot attorney since this is your first offense. find some cheap attorney and tell him you want to plea but want it erased after you complete terms
