This thread got me back. I got one friend who is a wrestling lifer he actually manages and does shows on the indie scene. I have alike 2. Other friends who keep up with it but other than that nobody

I've gotten my girl to watch with me just recently. She "likes" Randy Orton and Roman Reigns. She's also a Boliever. Asks me question sakit why they broke up The Shield,etc. If it wasn't for NT, I probably would've been a casual fan.

Damn near all of my friends.. half of my friends are casual fans.. (Only watch PPVs) The other hald of my friends will only watch raw / smackdown on Hulu plus and the PPVs) I'm the only one that can watch raw live damn near every week.. That's where NTWT is clutch.. I never had a chick that likes wrestling like me.. They will only tolerate it and Accept the fact that I watch wrestling every week..

Basically. I have a bunch of friends I've been down with since 98 and nearly all of them fell out of wrestling either when WCW folded, or when the Brand Extension happened. Every once in awhile some of them will chime back in with Rock or Austin comes around, or depending on whatever celeb comes up. My sister and cousin fell out of wrestling right after Teddy Long "had a heart attack". I remember my sister messaging me asking "is Kane supposed to be a salesman now?"

As of now, It's probably me and my cousin. A lot of friends lost interest through the years. But if the business ever picks up again, a lot of "former" fans will run back.

Pretty much how it is for me too, just me and my fraternal homie (who is much more casual than I, might only see a few PPVs a year since he stopped being observant after the AE)...I can't bring myself to recommend the product to anyone else.

That's why I'm always rooting so hard for them to get this **** right so it can assume its rightful place in society, competing with hockey and NASCAR for that #4 sport spot. I mean, those arenas full of screaming, passionate fans across the country from back at the turn of the century are hiding somewhere. I want them to dig up their old t-shirts to come and show the world.

...but yeah, on another note, Brotha X and the Televised Revolution need Titus, Henry and some merch stat...I'm all in on that.

I use to have a little "backyard" wrestling thing goin on with about 20 friends. We had shows and stuff this is all before youtube and all that. We all grew up tho and moved on with our lifes. My girl now is a fan but she dont kno ish so all I have is you guys lol. I love you bros........
