RAIDER NATION Season THREAD:

I just went through the last 3 pages since I havnt been in here since Sunday. And well..**** I guess I have nothing to say..last 3 pages felt tense as ****! Can't wait for texans I guess...

Went to school in LA, did that drive 15+ times. Always at night because I can't stand traffic.
Only issue I ever had was if there was road construction and they cut it down to one lane. Even then, it's just the annoyance of going 40 MPH on the highway.

May be obvious, but use cruise control. Especially in the ****hole middle of California. Ticket on my last drive was 650$.
Make a playlist, grab some redbulls and enjoy the ride :smokin

Apparently he's not missing any time...but obviously can't count on him being a threat in the pass game now..

I'd much rather take my changes with DMC and Murray at this point.

That trip up and down the 5 became so routine twice a semester. Thank God I never ran into CHP.

Made it from Oakland to Ontario in 5 hours and 45 minutes once. :lol:
 
David Carr planning on joining the Black Hole for Derek Carr's home debut
According to ESPN’s Williamson, Derek told the media this week that his older brother may decide to watch his younger brother’s debut in Oakland inside of the Black Hole. Of course, David will be wearing a mask to conceal his identity which won’t be a problem as he has been showing Derek potential mask ideas all week to fit in with the diehard members of Raider Nation that fill the Black Hole every home game.

From ESPN:

“My brother said he’s going and sitting in the Black Hole, all dressed up,” Oakland rookie quarterback Derek Carr said. His brother is David Carr. The former No. 1 overall draft of the Houston Texans, who just happen to be the Raiders’ opponent Sunday.

If David is actually going to be in the Black Hole, he won’t be advertising it.

“He has been sending me all kinds of pictures of different masks he might wear,” Derek said. “It’s pretty funny.”

Does Derek think his brother, who starred at Fresno State prior to being drafted in 2002, will go through with it?

“I don’t know, he might,” Derek said said. “I don’t think he wants to go to the game and have everyone see him. It’s California. Everybody will notice him.”

Bro I got real close family in Los Banos I'm out that way a few times a year. Definitely one of the armpits of Northern California. They big Raider fans too, regularly come out this way for games.
