1997 Women's Air Jordan price/fake check

I was presented an opportunity to purchase these sneakers today. All I know is that they are a women's size 14.5 and are from 1997. Apparently the first pair of women's Jordans made once Jordan Brand was separate from Nike. I have no knowledge of how to authenticate these (did they even make fakes of these) and also have no idea of value. Any help would be greatly appreciated.View media item 1083929

Back when the WNBA launched in 1997 Jordan Brand decided to get in on the ground floor as women’s basketball was propelled to the national spotlight, dropping a sneaker exclusive to the ladies dubbed simply ‘Womens Air Jordan".. Nothing special really I hope you didnt pay a grip.. Used with orig box I would say about $100ish honestly. Give or take a few bucks.. As always get another opinion or two.. @Firepower

Thanks for the insight, and no I definitely wouldn't spend much on a sneaker I knew nothing about ha. Going to pick em up tomorrow for $50, I'm sure I'll be told I'm wearing fakes. Thanks again

Im not so sure you wanna wear these.. Especially if they have been sitting for awhile..They are just too old.

Yeah, just to give a x2 co-sign to what Timmy already said...

Legit "Women's Jordan" from '97

$50 is fine, but again, wear at your own risk... they'll have the same separation issues as a regular pair of OG XIIIs.
