Im in firm belief N64 is the goat just off the systems's game list
KNOWN classic's (mario 64, mario kart 64) & the unknown not so popular classics(mace the dark ages) that dropped thru the systems inception until it was replaced

but
Nintendo Entertainment System
Super Nintendo Entertainment System
Sega Dreamcast
Playstation 1

were also tossing thier weight around in thier haydays

discuss NT

:pimp:

Genesis >*

If you didnt have a Sega Genesis, your parents didn't love you.

SNES is what you were told to say by gamer mags.

Still have all my systems, but I moved it into my brother's (vacant) room, planning to set that up as the retro room later. I got so many consoles/games its just taking up too much space.

Got the WiiU set up in my room though :pimp:, along with all of my portables (3DS, PSP, etc.)

I feel dreamcast could've been the goat but the limited library of games and its abrupt death by the hands of ps1 ruins what it could've been.

n64

golden eye,  mario 64 and mario kart 64, killer instinct gold, perfect dark, ocarina of time, donkey kong 64, diddy kong racing

hard to argue against the n64 as the goat

edit: og playstation is close 2nd to me, I remember when I had ridge racer...being able to take the game disc out and put a cd in to play music in game

SNES has a PS2 volume-like library. That basically eliminates the others.

Dreamcast could have been great, but PS2 cut their legs out from under them.

Meh, take away GoldenEye, Smash Bros, and the wrestling games from 64, you're left with a naked broke 3-kid having ugly chick. SNES and Genesis literally had everything you could imagine, but I'll take SNES over Genesis just from personal preference.
