What car/truck to go with?

Out of curiousity, would a fast car or a decked out truck really benefit you in NY?
I'm not from the city and I'm moving out of NY within the next two years to a more rural location.  There are enough places to open up your car around here and I'd think a truck like a Ram would be tough for when I did go into the city.

OP, do you live somewhere that gets more than 15in of snow a year? If not, I'd say go with a nice car.

The BMW M235i should be within that $600 price range if you want to keep driving German. The Hellcat Challenger might work too, depending on your credit. I mean, $600/Mo gives you a lot of options. (This is assuming you're not including insurance in that $600 figure.)

If you want a truck, go with the F150. Ram is cool and all, but the interior is super cheap, and coming from a BMW it'll be super obvious and probably an eyesore IMO. The newer Tahoes are nice tho. If you're not set on a pickup and want the benefits of a truck without as many downsides (interior, seating, etc) the Tahoe might be a great choice. Would definitely work well with a motorcycle combo in the summer.

Don't sleep on Honda/Toyota either. The Tundra is nice, and the Honda Pilot/Ridge line aren't too bad either. (
whats the problem with rams?
I think the older hemi models had transmission problems. That, and the interior on Rams is just

lol, the only truck interior that impressed me was the lincoln truck, all truck interiors are gross face imo

From a truck person's perspective, they're just huge and look horrible. Sure they have power but that sacrifices gas mileage and stuff like that. They just don't have the reliability that Toyota trucks have.

Tacomas give you a good balance of power and ability to customize while still maintaining a good gas mileage and they last forever. Have a great resell value if you ever pay it off and wanna resell.

Tundras are Toyota's power truck. Things are straight beasts from the starting line.

Or even the new 4Runners look straight evil and I was in a 2014 model the other day goin down some trails and the amount of features on those things are sick.

2015s

Throw a TRD package on either of those models, they'll outshine a Ram any day of the year IMO. Then again, I'm a Toyota / Chevy guy.

Ford or Dodge aren't my fancy.

The only Dodge Ram that I would recommend is the Diesel. Because, well.. Diesel.

.......... theyre about the same size as most of their competition and imo look better, the only other truck that looks halfway cool are the sporty lookin F150s (not the raptor)

whats crazy is i live in MI, and i hardly see any toyota trucks, most are either F150 or Ram1500

Ford Raptor or Tundra

Durango RT if you want an SUV

Mustang 5.0/Shelby GT500, Challenger RT, Cadillac CTS-V

If you wanna play it cool, Get a Nissan Maxima or Infinity.

What do you guys think About WRX STI's?  I was thinking about checking out one of those too.

I think it's between that , a M235i, and a 335.

It really just depends on your taste. The WRX STIs are nice, and so are the Subaru BRZs (take a look in person...most people either love or hate em.)

I mean, for $600/Mo, you can afford pretty much anything $60K and below. There's really too many options to say what's the best option.

I'm just leaning toward a 2015 335xi because I will be able to take the rims off of my 08 328 that I bought last summer and put them onto the new car.

Lexus RX series if your into SUV's or Lexus GX series if your into trucks.

That 2015 335xi seems mean. Yeah go for it, OP. :smokin . Can't wait till' I'm able to afford that.

I thought if it aint German it aint worth it.

a mechanic told me they hate subaru because they are solid cars, they last forever
next car purchase will be a 5th gen legacy...not the prettiest or remotely powerful, but they do the job very well from what i hear...

my hooptie (01 Sentra) is holding up though...passed 105k for the mileage...

I recently moved to West Texas and it is most def Truck Country!!!! Every one has one.... I really want a Chevy Avalanche but my first vehicle i ever owned was a 93 Dodge Ram and I love it... my current car is going thru a maintenance issue thing and im getting sick and tired of putting $300-$400 a month in services and repairs for the last 3 months.... I ready to trade it in and get my truck but dont really know which route to go.. Any suggestions???? Im partial to Dodge, Ford, and Toyota....
