QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

Yeah I like Cam but he didn't play well

When quarterbacks throw a pick six thats bad quarterback play

Cam played well?
Come on bruh, he threw 2 picks (one a pick6) almost had 4 others
was throwing off his back foot ball game

dude was a wreck out there

:smh:

I mean....

I pointed out 7 elite defensive players, on one D.

Cam out there throwing to some blonde surfer dude.
Hit Benji PERFECT for a TD, cept Benji couldn't get a second foot down.

On the road, vs #1 seed, Super Bowl champs, broke his ******* back 3 weeks ago, with 1 receiver and 1 TE, yet he had them in the game late despite drops, second foot not getting down, etc.

Pick 6 sealed it, sure. That's what happens when you're down multiple scores and have to force plays.

Cam played well, just not well enough. Russ played better. At home. Healthy. Vs a lesser defense.

Way to really examine all factors fellas.

The Flacco pick to seal it, on Flacco, or on Torrey?

Excuses

The Sherman interception was a poor decision throwing late towards the sideline on the best corner in the league on a 3 and 4

The mesh point fumble was probably his fault

Not to mention the Sherman and Thomas dropped interceptions

The pick six is still a pick six, You aren't winning many playoff games doing that

If Newton played well, what is playing bad in Today's NFL

The fumble was "probably" his fault.

Cam took a completely outmanned team and kept the game close. After breaking his back 3 weeks ago.

The Sherman pick was 3rd and long, an arm punt. Same as what Luck just threw, 3rd and long arm punt. Take a shot deep, hope for a miracle, flag, or at worst a long int, same as a punt.

I didn't say Cam played better than Russ, or Flacco, or anyone else. He played well with all odds stacked against him.

How about the youngest #12? That boy good!

Its been real Peyton

But his exit isnt out of the norm for many greats...fairytale endings rarely exist in sports

They're sobering and brutally harsh.

Think he's back next year but I cant see how much his arm can withstand come next winter.

Peyton needs and adamantium transplant for his arm.

The record he didn't want: Broncos QB Peyton Manning lost the 13th playoff game of his career, the most in NFL history.

Jeff Howe @jeffphowe
Barring a miracle, Peyton Manning will fall to 11-13 in the playoffs, including nine one-and-dones.

has to be considered when ranking the guy as an all time great. for me it's why he's not top 3. you have to show up on big stages. you're not going to ball out every time, but this is has been pretty consistent throughout much his career. it's actually mind blowing when you consider his ability and other achievements.

Of all the quarterbacks who have started over 10 NFL Playoff games only Moon (.300 ) Marino ( .444) and Matt Hasselbeck (.455) have worst postseason winning pct than Peyton's mark of .458

So much Peyton talk today, where does Tony Romo fall now that he's 2-4 in the playoffs? :nerd:

where did tony romo even stand before the playoffs?

he actually won a game this year. didn't have the catastrophic meltdown today. i'd say he actually improved his "place" after this season.
