QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

All Russell Dilfer did was prove everybody right.

That kid is trash. Just on a very good football team.

man whatever, haters gonna hate.

Congrats to you Seahawks fans. Ya'll got something special not only in that defense and Marshawn Lynch, but you've got a truly transcendent QB, a talent the league really hasn't seen before.

This ya'll moment. Live in it.

If Burnett actually runs with that 4th INT, is Russ still transcendent?

I want to see the end zone angle of what Burnett had ahead of him.

Special teams play (fake + onsides recovery)... Beast Mode running hard... defense holding GB to FG after FG after FG...

But Russ is transcendent. 14 completions, 4 picks.

Maybe I just watch a different NFL than some people.

Yup ppl forgetting a whole game after a good drive or two... If Russ had played even decent throughout the game it wouldn't have been close.it shouldn't have been that close. Way to close out a game but That d and marshawn carried mr Russ and yall act like he's something special.
No..... Game manager status still intact ...

No point of even arguing with the same clowns over and over. Russell played like absolute **** the first half but his play in the last few minutes was nothing less than masterful.

Much of the second half too, at the 5 minute mark, he had zero's everywhere.

But the last 4 min + OT, he was great.

Russell was instrumental in that Seahawks' comeback, after playing like dog**** for most of the game.

Came through in the clutch yet again but you'll need to pump the brakes on that "transcendent QB" talk a bit.

Funny to see friendly giving a QB that had 125 yards and 4 INT's thru 55 minutes praise, without mentioning his teammates bailing him out, at all.

Weird how that works.

So where were yall when Aaron Rodgers played like **** in the NFC Championship game but still won?

True, he had some really bad throws to Willson that were just way out of reach. Not to mention that throw to Lynch if he hits him in stride Lynch walks in w/o stepping out.

That throw to Kearse though was absolutely perfect. So excited for the Super Bowl. I think Russ will honestly be the reason we win. Don't see Mayo or any of the other NE LB's being able to keep up w Russ like Clay did all game. And, for some odd reason, Russell always plays better on the road.

That's my QB man :frown:

Mayo is out, I think, but 91 Jamie Collins could shadow Russ. He's crazy athletic.

I don't think anybody is denying that he played like **** for four quarters, that much was obvious. But when people still deny him credit for that last drive tho, that's where the blatant hate comes in. If that was Brady, Luck, Manning, ect. they'ed be getting credit for pulling themselves up and making plays when they need to. You can't get on him for playing like **** and then when he turns it around when it REALLY matters, you go and give everybody else credit. Like, what?

You can go on and on about his numbers, and the turnovers (which he rarely commits any of, much less throw four picks), but in OT he led his team down the field, he even made some of those nice, long throws you guys like so much.

Could you point out who hasn't given him credit for the final 4 minutes + OT?

Russell Wilson: 13.6 Total QBR, worst by starter in a win in the 97 postseason games since start of 2006; was Joe Flacco, 2009 at NE, 16.1

:x

and lol @ "he won the game" being all that he says.

Another addition to the block list.
