QB THREAD - 2x quarterbacky award winner: Lamar Jackson

But, NE marched the ball down the field that first drive with Lane and Avril in the game still. That's what surprised me. Then TB threw an awful pick. Just a bad decision.

Russell didn't have a bad game? You're right, he had an awful post season once again.

Sherman
Kam
Thomas
Irvin
Wagner
Bennett
KJ Wright
Maxwell
Malcolm Smith

Lane
Avril

So tell me, in matter of importance, who am I supposed to slot these guys ahead of? Sherm? Kam? Thomas? Bennett? Wagner? Irvin?

Are they not, just as I said, the 9th-10th best defensive players on the roster? What, you want to slot them 7th-8th or something? I mean……

Outside of Revis or Wilfork, how many Patriot defenders crack that Seattle Staring Lineup on Defense?

In all fairness the defense looked like it lost a step when Cliff went out.

Absolutely. I have zero doubt that Seattle missed those two players. But damn, every team is without key guys, just as New England was missing a few pieces themselves.

Some of yall dont get it at all :smh:

Youre only as strong as your weakest link especially on defense in the secondary

The dude gave up 2 touchdowns and over 100 yards not mention countless receptions

Losing your 3rd corner doesn't matter though?

But Tom was great regardless

But WAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAIIIIIIIIITTTTTTTTT

Seattle still had a lot of Pro Bowlers. And Starting Lineup type guys. NOW you can only be as strong as your weakest link?

NOW?

I see.

Weird how your criteria seems to be ever changing.

No idea. I merely asked them to list defenders in matter of importance. Note that I listed him last cuz I have no idea if he was even around last night.

Dave Hyde tweeted "Brady's won four Super Bowls with no other HOF on his offense"

Welker, Moss never won one. Mankins, nah, right? Great - but no. Gronkowski's resume very much trending that way and we'll get there in all likelihood.

But man, that's crazy.

So Malcolm Smith is more important than like 10 other dudes who played but yet he didn't play?

Cant wait to hear this one

1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8, and LASTLY, I mentioned Smith. Then I asked,

CAN YOU READ????????????????

Jesus ******* Christ.

Brady 4-0 against #1 ranked d this year avg. 316 yds 3 tds Bills, Lions, Bengals, Seahawks
Ridiculous.

Each of those teams were the top ranked #1 D when they faced the Patriots. First Bengals, then Bills, Lions, Seahawks.

Josh's finest hour yesterday too.

If you can't understand the importance of a nickel CB than no point in discussing this.

When do you see me saying he's not any good, or not important? I said he is NOT more important than ALL of those other players, which is flat out true. Seattle still had a ton of talent on the field, on defense. Moreso than what the Patriots did.

You mentioned the guy

The guy didn't even play a snap

Stop trying to spin it

You were wrong

I listed the guy, that won Super Bowl MVP last year, 11th.

I put him, last. You're just too brain dead to comprehend **** without your hand being held.

Hell, all you could focus on was Malcolm, you didn't even address the point that is where do Avril and Lane slot ahead of the other defenders? Come on, ask Siri real quick and get back to us.

Tharold Simon's last 2 games (vs CAR & NE): 21 targets, 17 comp, 205 yds, 4 TD allowed in coverage. :x

believe he was targeted 11 times for 7 completions and 2 tds for 91 yards yesterday. :smh:

Hes obviously not that important if he didn't play a single defense snap

You listed him nobody else did

Dude just say you were wrong

Avril is starter and would be for over half the teams in the NFL when you lose him you lose a guy who can win one on one without using games or zone blitzes

It also affects a guy like Bennett, if I know my offensive tackle can block the defensive end( Schofield) on a 2 way go, the offensive guard and center can devote all their attention to the defensive tackle which I believe Bennett played in most passing situations

I want to watch the game again to see if Bennetts disappearance coincided with Avrils injury

Trading Jeremy Lane for Tharold Simon if you cant see the affect of that, I don't know what to say to you

But this will be forgotten just like Krumrie's injury in one of Montana's Super Bowls wins
