oh it scared me. glad the black white 1s is not super hyped like breds and royals or even jeters. the 1s idk, i dont see them base that on breds tho cuz this one is not based on white infrareds 6s. so if its not based on breds. there wont be hype. ppl here dont know **** about SD.

I won a pair of Slam Dunk 6's in HK and the quality is pretty good on this release. The main reason I picked these up was for Slam Dunk, even if these were a GR I would still cop (just look at my Slam Dunk avatar lol). Nike just knows how to start the hype train. $250 retail is already pushing it for these tho. Not like they were made from premium leather.

If they do drop 1s and 5s I would imagine that there is lasering on at least on of them. It would make a lot of sense for them to make a SD 29 since they can print anything on that upper

im saying too much ppl heard the word limited and try to cop a pair and resell or be like yo those are fire bruh, thats how they got the hype started. so those of us who watched the manga and wanted a pair will have to pay resell if cant cop for retail. 29s would be dope, if they did a SD 29 instead of SF3s i would cop even if its a pack.

glad an actual fan got em, makes me sick how so many people who could care less about the anime/manga are coming out of the woodwork trying to get these.

didn't watch slam dunk cause i'm not heavy into sports anime but i plan to, wanna get these just because it's such a unique collaboration that i honestly thought would never happen.

So I'm in Singapore for a business trip. I'm eating at this nice restaurant in Shaw Centre, which is right next to a newly opened Nike Store.

After lunch, I walk in to the Nike spot to see if they have the Fusion Pink/Riverwalk Air Jordan XX9. First thing the sales associate says after seeing my co-worker and I with some Js on, is... "Sorry we just sold the last SLAM DUNK 6" ...

And I'm like.. wait what? You didn't get them on the 18th? (Asia release date). And he said they JUST released them this morning because their store just opened and got a shipment now.

So yeah, needless to say, I was pretty bummed knowing I missed my size Air Jordan 6 Slam Dunk by 10 minutes. I am a huge fan of the manga/anime and Takehiko Inoue's works too... So extra burn. On top of that I won't be home to participate in the raffles to win a pair on Nov. 1st

Oh well. Anyone ever experience close calls like this? Either for or against your favor?

No one is saying that every kick on kixify is fake, however it's not the smartest place to shop if you aren't good at telling the diff. between legit pairs and fake cause its littered with fakes and full of scammers.

IMO i'd rank it sd6 > inf 23 > spizike 6 in terms of just overall look, however the spizike 6 def. have the best quality of the 3 and it's not really close

imho (not that anyone asked), these are terrible. this is def. something for the younger generation. there is no emotional connection with these. mike never graced the court with them and they have pictures on them. i can't be too surprised about the hype tho bc they're limited. :x

not technically younger, slam dunk started before the 6s even came out, I know people who came from overseas that's been reading the slam dunk manga since like the early 1990s & they really want these

simply because these are the collab with SD manga, i didnt know NBA when i was in elementary school. but i knew sakuragi.  yeah black infrared is my number 1 og cw.
