These aren't bad. The 3m details are a great idea. Would like to see jb do that with Michael. Id rather have maroons..... 
But I wouldn't mind picking these up over the history pair simply because i like it without the green. If i were rich id have them all lol

The problem with the SlamDunk Anime is that it does not cover the whole manga. The anime does not cover the championship and not
the end where Rukawa becomes a professional basketball player.

Im def going to cop these now after watching some episodes of the anime. The show is pretty funny plus the players wear a lot of heat(Bred 1s,Aqua 8s,Fire Red 5s etc) It dosent hurt to watch some episodes maybe you'll appreciate them more if you do.

My question is this...The Infrared23, these, and the History of Jordan VI's would be 3 all red 6's released in 2014...Isn't that kind of a lot? Getting these, in my opinion, makes the "History of Jordan" (or whatever they're called) unnecessary.

That Asia market is HUGGGGEEEE!!! The resell will be crazy on these just like the tokyo 5's. Yes....they are super ugly.....but the story line alone in Asia will have these sold out.

grew up on the manga of Slam Dunk. great tribute to perhaps one of the top 10 manga series of all time. people that grew up reading the manga and anime will love these especially those of us that grew up in Asia before moving to US. 

this manga was the reason I had the 99-00 retro V and the reason i finally bought the white infrared VI.

The story in the manga/anime is very nice. If you dont know about it, the protagonist Hanamichi sakuragi is an arrogant stupid tall troublesome guy who knows nothing about basketball but only knows how to dunk.. He ten joined his High school team to prove he is a genius of basketball and later learned how to play itwhile they were competing with other schools . the story is full of lessons and funny, stupid scenes I have watched and read it when i was in my teens, about 10 years ago.


Back to the topic.. Scheduled to be released on holiday.

The quality of the spizikes blows any jordans in recent memory out of the water. If you don't like the colorblocking on the spizikes, ok, i get that. But from a quality/materials used standpoint...this 3m material wont come close to the buttery leather on the spizikes.
