and you cannot deny that the Manga artist used the Chicago Bulls uniform for the team Shohoku ^^
The manga had the sneakers of all players very detailed. Cons, Reebok Pumps, AJ6 white/infareds and AJ1 Black/Reds for Sakuragi Hanamchi
and AJ5 white/black-fire reds for Rukawa.

It's just funny that the main character is a red haired whild guy who is great at defense and rebounding and wears No. 10 like Dennis Rodman.
But as you know this manga was released in the early 1990's and Rodman did not join the Bulls before 1995/1996 NBA season.
Did the manga artist had some kind of 6th sense?

That Asia market is HUGGGGEEEE!!! The resell will be crazy on these just like the tokyo 5's. Yes....they are super ugly.....but the story line alone in Asia will have these sold out.

I like them...but don't see myself being in the position to get a pair when/if they release....too many people will be tryna get them...has the feeling like an Asia only release but idk

slam dunk manga are huge around china area and rest of east asia, probably they will release as asia exclusive or china exclusive since they have huge fan base of slam dunk manga

The problem I have with releases like this is people get so caught up in the gimmick behind it. The shoe is terrible. The weird 3M graphics, the color blocking, the random glow/clear accents, the shape, and the fact that it looks a lot like the all red 6 that's suppose to come out in Aug is just a headache IMO. The same could be said about the brasil 6 and how it looks a lot like the Oreo 6 that's expected later this yr. almost like they're intentionally releasing the same shoes.

Jb gotta do better than this moving forward. So far this yr has been one the most disappointing for retro releases

I don't think it's a bad looking shoe at all. And like dude above me said, the Asian market is HUGE and these might be a HUGE international release.

I think they're well executed for what the inspiration is. Dudes get bent out of shape because JB isn't retroing maroons, but from a purely business stand point, JB can't survive in the long term if their only plan is to re-release old colorways. They have to continue to look forward and find new ways to sell old products...Which is what they are attempting to do here.

My question is this...The Infrared23, these, and the History of Jordan VI's would be 3 all red 6's released in 2014...Isn't that kind of a lot? Getting these, in my opinion, makes the "History of Jordan" (or whatever they're called) unnecessary.

Im def going to cop these now after watching some episodes of the anime. The show is pretty funny plus the players wear a lot of heat(Bred 1s,Aqua 8s,Fire Red 5s etc) It dosent hurt to watch some episodes maybe you'll appreciate them more if you do.

These aren't bad. The 3m details are a great idea. Would like to see jb do that with Michael. Id rather have maroons..... 

But I wouldn't mind picking these up over the history pair simply because i like it without the green. If i were rich id have them all lol

Pretty cool anime but I grew up on DBZ
