Catching cabs/taxis in new cities

I hate it, I have this paranoia always, that I'm getting got.

Especially when you caught the same taxi from airport to your destination and it cost $20 and the way back some how cost $40.

Since we on this anyone tip taxis? This is seriously something that I see no use for at all.

NYC cabs cost less than downsouth cabs and I use to complain about NYC cabs

Go 3 miles in NYC maybe you pay $8/9 .. go two blocks in ATL mannnn forget about it
