Let's make it clear, YES not 100% of police are good guys, but let's also make it clear that not 100% of people on the streets are good guys either.

Jail is full of innocent people or however the saying goes

My parents both told me "Some are good and some are bad"

55 years ago police were sending dogs and spraying water hoses on folks. Covering up crimes for white Americans. Folks that experienced this are still living and their kids are still living. Now these same folks are supposed to just drop this **** and trust them.

Rodney King beat down cause LA riots

Numerous black men in NYC who are dead because of the police


But OH



it's their mentality


I just hope the ones saying stupid **** are white so I can at least not be surprised by the stupid **** you're spewing

please. stop using it as a crutch to defend fools who act aggresive towards people with guns and the end results are injury or worse, death. and then wonder why so much "violence" occurs in "your community".

No one disputes this. What's also very clear (except to white people in this country, generally speaking) is that cops treat everybody of a certain complexion like bag guys, and if you're a black or brown male, you have a much higher chance of getting a bullet put in you, bad guy or not.

A "cop" isn't a robot, they're individual people. To say "all cops are bad" is just as bad as saying all black people are bad.

To being up more flaws in your logic some cops are...... Get this....... BLACK
 
Oh, now im racist. because I've grown up in the hood, been black all my life, grew up through the crack epidemic, but yet when i recognize and point out how violence prevails throughout the hood and is one of the MAIN reasons these folks end up dead, im a racist. keep playing that scapegoat card.

I don't even intend on living in this country after I turn 30.

Police brutality is a factor in that (a minor factor to be honest).

My first post in this damn thread said that there was good officers but I can't trust one until I see how they address me first.

I have no record and I wanna keep it that way. And I be damn if some ego tripping white officer get me caught up cause he doesn't like me for the way I look.

Thread still has potential. I watched Cops coming up so I knew not to **** around with police before the first time I was profiled.

Talk to them like you have some sense and you're good where I live. Even before we made it to the burbs it was like that.

yeah but i didnt have any other large group of black/latino males to ask...


the few times i been to NY i noticed the police presence was like no other i've seen before...
