Official 2015 New York Giants Thread VOL: Odell Beckham > *

I'm pretty sure McAdoo isn't goinh anywhere.

I'm fine with McAdoo here, it's a whole new system after ten years, and when the line protects Eli he can get the job done. He also is not getting hit as much either.

Fewell will def be gone, I'm still not sure if Coughlin will be let go just yet,

Hope Cruz can become as effective before that brutal knee injury, having him alongside ODB with a reliable 3rd receiver, things can improve.

NFL is a year to year league, things can change quickly for the better as long as you have a proven QB.

Reese gotta go. We've had way too many deficiencies at the non-skill positions for far too long covered up by the fact that he's been able to draft us some gem skill position players. Our team is hollow.

Don't see how McAdoo has been a negative with this team, no way he goes anywhere.

I actually like McAdoo, just need to bolster the subpar at best offensive line and we will be good.

I blame Reese way more than coughlin. Every team builds through the draft, and we're lucky to get 1 starter out of 7 picks. I looked it up and this is how many guys from each draft are NFL starters today:
2007: 1 - Ahmad Bradshaw
2008: 0
2009: 1 - Will Beatty (could include Hakeem Nicks, but he is no longer an NFL starter - including him would be like including David Wilson)
2010: 2 - JPP, Linval Joseph
2011: 1 - Prince Amukamara (could include Jacquian, but he's really not an NFL-level starter)
2012: 0 - (1, if you include Reuben Randle, but he's beyond trash)
2013: 2 - Pugh, Hankins (Moore could possibly be starting on another team if given playing time)

2014 is too soon to tell, but this actually seems like it could be a rare good year, with some depth and a star WR...

But think about that, 7 drafts and we were able to find somewhere between 7-10 (depending on if you include Nicks, Randle and Moore) starters total, one of which is no longer on the team (Linval). This has to be up there with the Raiders and Jaguars in terms of yielding the worst players through the draft, and this isn't even mentioning how poor our depth is, bc our 4-7 picks are barely worth keeping on the roster. We've been taking all of these offensive lineman over the years and none of them have materialized. Something has to change, as much as the Giants crave stability.

I don't necessarily think Coughlin is the right guy for this team, and I'd be excited to see someone innovative and young like the Eagles have w/ Chip, but I don't think he deserves to take the fall for this. Unless he was heavily involved w/ the draft process.

I want Rueben Randle gone now.

Andre Williams looks pretty bad too but its his first year so he gets some slack.

The best WR in the game right now. Unstoppable.

Not since Randy Moss have we seen a better rookie.

Beckham should have OROY locked up. This dude is special.

At this point it's unreal what he is able to do, immediate impact player. Eli has one weapon on offense currently and they're making things happen with ease.

Even though losses would help with a higher draft pick, I did not want to lose to an awful ******** team. I won't put much stock into the defensive line playing these awful offensive lines, we saw what they did vs the better teams.

Any confidence Eli and the offensive unit can have going into next season considering this new offense, is a plus imo.

Still can't run the ball with this line which is ridiculous. Hope Eli can stay at 13 INT's by seasons end, he can finish the season with 4,000+ yards and 30+ TD's, would be a great bounce back year.

I'm still pissed about Eli's 5 INT day. The **** was that? Killed his season stats.

ODB is a contender for ROY. Should have had 4 TDs yesterday but got one called back on that ******** hold call.

I can't wait for Rueben Randle to get the **** off this team.

Antrel Rolle been kind of bad this season. Not sure what the hell is going on. I'm curious if we bring him back.

Coughlin and McCadoo will be back.

I like the Kennard kid.

Rolle is about what, 31? So at this point we're at the unsure stage....sometimes age brings you down, other times you continue to contribute despite that. I think we let him go.

McCadoo can stay. He has work to do but I'll give him a chance. Everyone else I'm highly questionable on.

We have a lot of holes to plug on this team but I also hope we don't think ODB and Cruz will be enough, as far as our offense goes. It won't. Need a consistent TE or to try to bring in a veteran wide out.

We need a TE more than a WR. I'm really interested in Vernon Davis. Not sure if he's done or pissed off about not getting paid.

A good TE is not going to be easy to come by. A vet WR more important imo. An injury to Cruz or OBJ would snatch the rug out from under us again. We've already proven that we can succeed without a quality TE. We took Ballard to a Super Bowl lol. When we had Manningham x Cruz x Hicks we gave opposing secondaries fits. Gotta bring that back.

What's Fitz's contract situation looking like? I wanted him for the longest. I just knew he was coming when we lost Plax smh.

Any chance of getting hakeem back for the cheap?

Hakeem has looked real bad this year. His body might be done. I don't know what the hell is wrong with him.

Ballard and the other guy weren't great but they were better than the TE's we have now. Donnell is trash and so is Fells.

giants wr's dont usually do well once they leave
i rather draft another rookie next year than take nicks back

I'm not banking on drafting another stud WR. And we need to draft for other positions, especially the lines. Also, if we're all being real with ourselves, Eli needs to win now, not later. I'm not anticipating him having a great twilight of his career. We gotta go all in now and then start looking for our next QB.

I been telling people, every time a receiver leaves the Giants they fall off for whatever reason. Steve Smith, Manningham, Nicks.

i still believe in him :frown:

Nah, I'm a HUGE Hakeem fan. I don't know the **** that is out there wearing #14 but it looks nothing like him.

Dude was a beast during that 2011 run. I still remember that hail mary he caught against Green Bay. :x
