Official 2015 New York Giants Thread VOL: Odell Beckham > *

Yea, luckily the defense started getting pressure late in the game to fluster an already subpar qb.

Couldn't believe Randle showed up. He was huge for us. About ******* time.

O line did a great job against a solid defense.

Larry Donnell and Dwaye Harris should be cut today.

Impressive win. Settled for too many FGs but a good win. We needed this. Buffalo is gonna be tough, their defense is no joke.

maybe its just me but i feel like the Giants are struggling closing out games because theyre too worried about clock management.

running the clock out. not scoring on purpose.

you played well 3 and 1/2 quarters of the game just keep going.

not just the giants but i feel like teams shoot themselves in the foot by pussyfooting to end the game.

you run the ball on 1st and 2nd down when theres 8 in the box and everyone in the stadium knows its a run.

then you have to convert a 3rd and long which you dont and the other team gets the ball.

its football.

just step on their necks.

I feel the same way^^^

They're worried too much about losing the lead that they start making dumb decisions instead of just playing the game.

I want Hakeem back. Solid hands and has familiarity with the team and players. I'm not expecting old Hakeem but his hands have always been solid.

Welker needs to retire already.

If Nicks wasn't good enough for the Titans, not sure he's even worth picking up.

If only Preston Parker was cut instead of James Jones

Jones now out there flourishing with Arod

Cruz reinjured his calf. Probably out another four weeks. I hope we bring in Hakeem Nicks.

LeSean McCoy and Sammy Watkins most likely out this weekend.

WHY IN THE **** DID WE PASS ON 2ND AND 3RD IN THE RED ZONE WITH LESS THAN 3:30 LEFT?!?!?! WE ******* LOST TWO GAMES BECAUSE OF THIS CLOCK MANAGEMENT. RUN THE CLOCK, KICK THE ************* FG!

Our defense was unreal today. That D line played a hell of a game again. Overall defense was money until the 4th.

Offense had some great plays but left a lot of chances on the field. Should have scored way more points. Rashad made a great play, Eli was pretty good. Happy to win and keep it alive. 2-2

Impressive road win, defense held the in check from start to finish. Of course Eli's first pick comes on slant thrown towards Randle's way, didn't do much to snag that ball or extend his arms.

McAdoo is too aggressive for his own good, at the goal line run it three times and kick the FG to make it a three possession game. Makes zero sense what he is doing.

Won't be over week 1 unless they win 6 in a row.

I haven't watched a 49ers game all season, and I know they're trash, but I'm nervous as all hell for this next game.

But then again, I see things picking up on both sides of the ball, actually, in all 3 phases. I'd like to see this squad get off to a quick start.

Good to have Spags back too.

Our defense is looking much better than I expected. Run defense has been great. Our secondary is doing enough. Overall, solid effort.

O line has been much better than I expected. Really need Cruz back out there. Bills weren't even covering Dwayne Harris' bum ***.

That Eli INT had me mad as ****. Shouldn't even be throwing it there. Should run the clock and kick. Randle half assed the route and didn't even go for the ball. Complete ********.

I can't even get on Dwayne Harris, he's been a good option on special teams and even looked solid out of the slot.

I was surprised at how efficient the Giants were running the ball, both of these teams are tops in the league at stopping the run.

Eli is continuing where he left off last season, and hasn't even had Cruz/ODB on the field together. He makes the most with what he has.

Donnell drops a ball on a weekly basis. :smh:

This right here had me hot. We've made some egregiously bad playcalls this year. Once, is a gamble. Twice, is a mistake. Three times is idiocy. We could've easily bungled away this game too, for absolutely no reason. Less than 4 minutes left, up by two scores at the goal line and the opposition has no more time outs? Run the f'n ball! Worst case scenario you go up three scores on a chip shot fg and put the game out of reach.

Aside from the that the defense has really looked aggressive and we're starting to make plays. Still no pass rush but hey at least they're fighting. Also, Eli has looked different this year. Way more under control and placing passes really well. I have however noticed that he's been changing the play call at the line an awful lot. At one point yesterday it seemed like he changed the play like 4 or 5 times in a row. There might be something going on between him and McAdoo. I've seen some good calls from McAdoo but the 3rd down playcalling has been bad from day one.

Eli played one of his better games in a while and the stats don't reflect how well he played, he changed a lot of plays at the line because Buffalo brought a lot of different packages than they expected, especially on their blitzes. Eli was on step ahead the entire day, far cry from week 1.

Delay of games after penalties are still inexcusable.
