Official 2015 New York Giants Thread VOL: Odell Beckham > *

Not going to make excuses for that

He should have secured the ball.

You can see the guy thinking about how he is going to celebrate

Got laxed and then cookied
It was just a good defensive play. You can't fault ODB for that.

3 passes with 2 min left in the red zone. Did they not learn from the earlier games this year?
We needed 7. I have no problem with the plays that were called. We weren't going to be able to run the clock down enough to keep Brady from having time to get into FG position.

I'm blown we couldn't hold on to that pick. That's where the game was lost to me. It's not like he hit the ground and the ball popped out. He hit the ground, rolled a bit and then kinda just let go. You have to hold on to that. That was game.

And I don't even mind losing to the Pats here, except for the fact that we seem to be the only team that knows how to take it to these clowns. I can't stomach the thought of these guys running the table again. The entire AFC is trash smh.

As for us, this was our best game this season. If we can sustain this kind of play and get all our guys back out on the field a run isn't out the question.

Can't believe Collins comes down with that ball and can't keep control. Game over if that happens. If this defense shows up remainder of season the division will be ours. At this point, we are just mediocre.

Cruz probably wont be a giant anymore

I'm not mad. Cruz seems very disinterested in football. He got a little fame and started to hang with celebs around the city and it seems he put football second or third on his priorities list.

All he seems to care about is his upcoming sneaker release and what roc nation party to goto. :smh:

We need DE, OL, S, and TE help.

MY BOY NICKS IS BACK!!!!! IM A HUGE FAN OF HIS, KID WAS A BEAST. He's done so I don't expect **** from him but I'm hyped to see him back out there. Hope he wears 88.

I think Cruz is gone. It's possible he could take a pay cut because I don't know how much money other teams will be offering him because of his last two seasons. I hope he stays #Boricua

Only thing I'm expecting from Hakeem is the ability to not drop passes, with those big hands lol. In all other aspects he's probably washed. We had to do something though. Trotting out ODB and a host of 3rd string guys isn't going to cut it if we want to make some waves.

Hakeem has the ability to grab jump balls and run fade routes

This team has been pathetic in the red zone so hakeem will def help.
Exactly what I was thinking. We haven't had a big receiver with good hands since he was last here.

If he can still do that, the receiving core should be pretty good actually. Not expecting big plays from him at all. Hell, I wouldn't even trot him out there until we reach the redzone.

All depends on the motivation he has. If he's anything like the last season he had with the Giants, it will be a disaster. Timing was so off with Eli and Nicks really giving up on routes did not help. All you can do is hope for the best especially now that he will be learning Mcadoos offense. Hopefully he hits the ground running.

Damn you right, Cruz is 29. Always thought he was younger but he did have a delayed start.

IDK how much he has left in the tank but welcome back to Hakeem either way.

It'd be nice if Nicks has anything left in the tank, but i dont think anyone's getting their hopes up expecting an pro bowler. I still remember the last game he was still himself when he roasted Talib playing thru injury. He was never the same after that day :smh:

If it means anything, the Packers practice squad WR Reese picked up (our scouts seem way better at UDFAs and practice squad pickups than 4th-7th rd draft picks) Miles White looked pretty good whenever he played. Had the special teams play recovering Beasley's fumble, a nice sideline jump ball and the uncalled PI in the end zone this past Sunday. He seems like the ideal 4th/5th WR that can run a few deep routes downfield and play special teams. He probably has more upside than Geremy Davis, our 6th rder this year.

Is Nicks going to be ok accepting a role on ST? I'm sure at this point, a contract and a job is what matters most to him, but would be sad to see him running down covering punts after all he's accomplished here.

i have high hopes on nicks coming back to form. randle just doent have it, he looks like a stud WR but doesnt have mental makeup for it. giants didnt sign him to be 4th WR and to play special teams. thats their backup if randle doesnt step it up this week and next. i rather see nicks starting and harris and randle getting sharing snaps at slot WR.

Giants better win Sunday, skins have easy schedule, they are home boys, road bears, home bills, road eagles, road boys.
Giants need to win and need to finish strong. would love 10-6

They just can't make this **** easy. Division being handed to them and this is what happens. It would be embarrassing if they don't win this.
