The Official Iceberg/ Iceberg History Thread

I've been on eBay looking for some. When did the line stop production?
If I am not mistaken the production began to stop somewhere around 2002-2003.

That is when I started seeing a lot of Iceberg items on sale around my hometown of Atlanta, GA.

Alot of other clothing brands started to follow suit by placing characters on their clothing: Platinum Fubu, Marc Ecko, etc.

I think Iceberg was just to expensive for most compared to those other brands that were acceptable then.

Had a nice little collection from 8th grade to about 11th grade (98-99 to 02-03). Loved the clothes, but had to hand wash every piece. Hated doing that ****.

I remember there used to be an Iceberg boutique on Madison. Haven't even thought to look for it when I'm around the area.

Cool....Cool.

I always admired how Gilmar would manufacture Iceberg Shirts, Knits, Denim with different types of materials like Suede, Leather, 3m.

That is something that cheaper brands could not mimic such as Platinum Fubu, Marc Echo, etc.

I thought this thread was about Iceberg making a comeback.

Seems like now would be a good time.

They were geared to make a "comeback" last year, but in my opinion the new-garments are garbage.

The designs lack the creative mind-set that JC Castlebajec brought when he was the head designer at Gilmar.

Did they actually dropped? I guess not, but in my opinion they saved face. If you can't retro it correctly then don't do it at all.

I have a Iceberg History knit that I am willing to part with.

100% Authentic; Brand new w/ Tags attached.

Size XL: Transparent Hypergreen lettering

Hypergreen & Charcoal Gray stripes on the upper sleeves

Leather applied on "Clyde's" body w/ a stitched cigar in his mouth

Iceberg History "Simba" (The Lion King) knit

Very detailed with the heavy dark brown stitching in the eyes & outlining the body

"ICEBERG History" stitched on the rear neck area

Damn!!! I love love LOVE Iceberg, even to this day! I will be posting a couple of pieces I have at my moms crib later. So much memories and such beautiful clothes

Funny thing, every now and then I check eBay out to see if I can get some pieces. Checked on Tuesday, and now this thread exists.
