L/C (QC) on Eastbay Restock Playoff 8s

Hey everyone, I just started collecting this year and I was hoping for some advice on these 8s I just picked up. I'm not going to claim that EB is selling fakes because that obviously isn't true, but unless I'm bugging the jumpman on the left shoe's tongue looks off when compared to the right shoe. Is this something I should return them over or would this not be a big deal to you?
 
Gonna need a few more.pix of these..I'm not liking either jumpman to be honest, but I need closer pix.
 
No way Eastbay sent out some fake shoes. I jus got a pair of these from the Eastbay restock as well. Fake AJ8S look really bad anyway. There wouldnt be any doubt about it and Eastbay would have caught it before they mailed out. Does yours have a date stamped inside the box?

I mean that's the way I interpreted the post. Maybe thats why he put QC check in the title. Unless he bought these from someone who said they got them from the Eastbay restock then that's another story. I'm assuming u bought these personally from Eastbay correct? @OP

Thanks for the replies guys, as I said I'm not claiming they're fake so I'm sorry if this is the wrong forum, my question was if the jumpman looks off to anyone else and if it's off enough that they're worth returning. Basically I'm asking for a quality check here.

Nike already did the quality check that's how they made it to Eastbay. :wink:
Wouldn't send them back to Eastbay for damn sure. They look perfectly fine to me.

Word thanks guys, it's really noticeable to me now but it wasn't until I put them side by side and really started looking at them. I doubt anyone would see or even care with them on feet anyway.
 
Yeah, i've come to a few annoying quality mishaps myself lol. Just the usual stuff, pre creasing in the toebox, stitching a little uneven etc haha

I promise u NOBODY will ever notice that when on your feet. And that mini "flaw" has no bearing on the value of the shoes. I've Gotten MUCH worse flaws on shoes straight from nike retailers. I wouldn't even consider this a flaw in my humble opinion.

you newer collectors MUST stop thinking a missed stitch and a little glue or a crease is a QC issue..You sit down and make 10000000 of whatever BY HAND and see how many are perfect...This is normal ish guys, nothing to be super critical of or concerned about. Now an upside down jumpman, no glue at all, or stitching that's as crooked as a snake would be.. I don't necessarily mean "you" guys personally but PLEASE spread the word.

nothin personal at all man.. Please don't think I'm singling you out or anything.. We just see peeps that think they have fake kicks for one or other "Very small" issue..I'm just trying to drive the point home is all.. Take care fam.
 
On fake 8s, the Jumpman would look way off and it would be really easy to tell.

They look good and the fact that you got it from Eastbay means you can sleep easy.
