No way! LMAO... If these don't check out, I think my craigslist J buying days are over hahaha...

I thought these checked out.  The Jordan Jumpman tag sits right at the bottom lace in the 3rd opening where it's suppose to (I thought fakes had them stitched a little higher towards the middle?).  Carbon fiber also is on point (do fakes have real CF?... and the guy I bought them from showed me his online receipt from NDC (which could also be fake too I suppose).

I'll snap those pics when I get home in a bit.  Thanks for your input though!

Sad to say I believe these see fake too. Tags in shoe look really off. Font is off, dates are way apart. Wait on more opinions tho.

Omg. Just can't catch a break here. Paid $215 for these too.

Any more opinions would be much appreciated.

Idk if they are gm or not, I can tell you that my footlocker pair has a production date of 11/27/13 - 2/26/14 and tag looks like yours tho

These are legit man. Even down to the way the laces come factory laced. My pair and other pairs I've seen skip the last eyelet.

Also, the stitching doesn't look messy at all on these and the CF looks on point.

Lastly, the dates aren't that far apart. 2-3 months apart are what I've seen on these.

Anything else sticking out about these to anyone?

Thanks for some reassurance y'all. I thought I had done my homework before I pulled the trigger. And the dude that sold me this pair is a reseller that has/had connections with local shoe stores. Of course could all be BS but who knows. Lol

I have both the real ones a fake ones. The pair pictured here are real. On the fake ones the carbon fiber is bad and the soles aren't nearly as icey as the legit pair.

Thanks for more assurance everyone! So I just have one more thing to point out (actually 2) check out these two pics. Should I be concerned that the Jordan jumpman tag is uneven (1 is a little higher than the other)?

And what about the stitching at the laces down by where the patent leather starts? They are a little off.

Am I splitting hairs here and we should chalk it up to subpar JB quality nowadays? Or does this change things? Thanks again for ur input in advance. Much appreciated!

Bump for this last question regarding the jumpman tag.

As stated by @ryanjumpman420
those are fakes bro, the tongue tag is totally off!!

Here is a legit one, you can clearly see the difference (stitching, font, padding with the purple lines):

Dang... Thanks for your input bro. Do you think it might just be a mass production QA kind of deal? Would fakes have real carbon fiber so soon? I know the 2011 concord fakes have gotten pretty close to looking like the authentics

Fakes have been using real carbon fiber for a while now on the higher quality fakes.
Yup and to answer OP's question: the tongue tag issue is not a quality issue, it's a dead giveaway to spot fake concords low as, as you can see, fakes are coming very close the legit pairs.

Anyway, the pair you posted pictures of is definitely fake, sorry 'bout that

Thanks guys... I think I'm pretty much done with dealing with Craigslist and other sites with no buyer protection lol...

I'm sorry @ryanjumpman420  but I'm gonna have to disagree, which I don't do much with you. I did A LOT of research before purchasing my pair a couple months ago.

There was always ONE solid way to tell the difference between the GM pairs and the retail pairs....MILKINESS OF THE SOLE. GMs always had a murky look to them, couldn't see the details of the carbon fiber through the sole. Not transparent enough. Also can't see the patent leather thru the toe caps.

This pair is nice and clear. From the bottom shot alone I'm pretty sure these are the real deal. Also, no widow's peaks anywhere. So yeah, I'm gonna say these are LEGIT.

Disagreed.

Milkiness of the sole IS a dead giveaway to spot fake, I'm with you on this one.

However, the tag on the inside of the tongue is also a giveaway and in that case you can clearly see that the tag from the pair posted is way off.

I mean let's be honest guys, we are debating on a pair, some are saying they're real, some are saying they're fake. Conclusion: let's just ask OP to move on, find another pair where we will all agree on its legitimacy.
