Never heard of it but I'll check it out

NO ONE HAS TALKED ABOUT THIS YET?

SAW IT OPENING NIGHT ON FRIDAY:

  1. HANDS DOWN, MOVIE OF THE YEAR.
  2. IF THIS DOESNT WIN BEST PICTURE, I GIVE UP!!!!!
  3. Brad Pitt absolutely destroys his role.
  4. Such an emotional and captivating film. 2 hrs flew by in a blink.
  5. Inglorious Basterds x Saving Private Ryan = FURY

Watched it last night and everything said above applies

Movie was great from start to finish. Gordo was hilarious. Shias character/acting was top notch.

Wondering why they let him go at the end tho

Relax.

It was a great film, but more than likely it won't get a single Oscar nomination. If it does it'll be for makeup or costume or set design.

this or even sound mixing. also, saving private ryan is in a league of its own. not on the same level. but Fury was a great movie. strong acting all around, and i am not ashamed to say shia is rapidly growing into a strong dynamic actor. stand by that statement.

tank on tank fisticuff was crazy. never seen anything like it.

and i also agree. movie kept me engaged throughout its duration.

ON ONE! :pimp:

i expect nolan god to get oscar nom for interstellar. already copped tickets to 70mm IMAX in Midtown Lincoln Square :pimp: :pimp:

For a second I thought you meant Gordo from Lizzie Mcguire did a collabo with Shia (from Even Stevens) was about to run to the theaters real quick!

But real talk, all these reviews are making me want to run to the theaters to watch

I wouldn't put it close to lone survivor the acting in this movie was on the level of saving private Ryan.

For me
Saving private Ryan( the storming of the beach scene :nthat: )
Fury
Inglorious bastards
Black hawk down

Yup, quality flick through and through. Acting was excellent all around and the action was very well done. Some really grizzly parts too...half a face in the tank :x. Did a very good job keeping things tense throughout the film. Definitely worth a watch.

My favorite movie of the last couple years was lone survivor, this is SO much better to me. Just saw it tonight and was thoroughly entertained. I want to see it again!

Man, I want to see this, but the critics are hatin, I always got faith in NT, funna check it out.

I guess I am sort go grave digging but I just saw this film and it's pretty damn awesome. It definitely has hints of Saving Private Ryan but I love how these types of films depict war in such a (what I would think) realistic light. Dudes be getting blown apart like no other and acting from all the cast from Brad Pitt, Shia, Michael Pena and that dude from Walking Dead all do great. Definitely worth a rental or even to own.

Good acting, I just didn't like the story. It felt like I was watching "Nations Pride" I can't explain why I didn't like it, but it doesn't rank anywhere near any decent war flicks in my opinion.
