I was driving for a layup and dude slaps my mouth. No blood or huge pain , played on. Hours later, I drank cold water and also wind blew through my teeth and it hurt. Like the feeling you set your teeth in cold ice cream. It's not loose and no pain lingering from hit. Haven't touched cold water yet since yesterday so I don't know.

Go to a dentist

inb4 NT I broke my leg. What do I do? Should I call an ambulance?

Your gums are probably tender and it's making your teeth sensitive. As long as there isn't bleeding you should be ok but you should still see a dentist OP

Go to a dentist :rolleyes

I am going to dentist tomorrow. Just wanted to know what to do/not do in the meantime. I'm just tripping bc of horror stories of tooth discoloring and dying. I'm ugly enough as it is, a missing tooth would not be good

If you took this course of action, you're fine:

1)Make a thread about it on NT

2)Tweet about it several times

3)Take a photo to post on IG with the hashtag #MOUF

4)Google it

5)Go to a dentist

I haven't heard of that before. Would the cause for it to die be nerve damage?
No, you're not ugly, dont worry all you need is class SWAG

Going to the dentist is a waste. I've had the same thing happen multiple times...cost of going in the paint. Anyway, it'll go away after a couple of days and you'll be 100% back to normal.

dentist can likely identify the point of impact and shave the tooth down to relieve the pain. I mentioned it during one of my cleanings and they told me it would be no additional cost (assuming you have dental insurance) I had a similar chip way in the back of my tooth. thought it was a cavity. the smallest little chip was providing discomfort because of that sensitive nerve in your tooth. Hope this helps op!
