Whatup NikeTalk,

First off I apologize for another Legit Check on the Taxi's. Paid resellers price on Ebay and have noticed what I hope are just production errors. Worn them a bit but just want you guys expertise...

Check the red paint drip on the "23" of right heel.

Also, while wearing them and looking down. The glue on the midsole looks suspect.

Thanks for your help. I've been riding with 'em a few months but if they aren't legit I'd rather take the L and lay 'em down.

Post pic of size tag inside shoe. I dunno if it was just a sloppy qc date stamp but that one is piss poor if it is indeed legit. I have a retail pair of these on hand.
 
Need pifs of bottoms a straight side shot of shoes and pic of the JUMPMAN engraved on midsoles

These pix look better.. I think you may  be ok here.. Ryan did the retail pair come with the 11 script looking paper?
 
Everything seems to check out to me. Tongues are on point and both jumpmen on them. Carbon fiber looks on point. Production dates are on point. Wait on others opinions tho. They make good fakes of these tho it's a simple design. The black snake skin material is usually really shiny on the fakes and the legit pairs have a matte finish. Also on the side heel it should have a slight red hue to it. A pinkish hue almost I guess. I dunno if anyone else has noticed that on these.

Bet...same paper, also noticed hue on rear midsole. What also bothered me was that they appeared lighter on foot than the Flint 12s from '04, which I bought in store 2 wks after they released. Imagine doing that now a days. Preciate the insight.

Yea u can't compare different retro releases. But I think that pinkish hue on the rear midsole is a good "tell" from what I've seen, the fakes don't have that pinkish hue on the rear midsole. All mens legit 2013 taxi 12s do have the hue.
 
100% legit. 

can't compare to 04 xii retros. those were made much better. sold my blk/red and flints and kept the playoff. the over all quality is just better on the 04; more padding around the ankle, more padding on the tongue.  even the 2009 xii white/red was made with better/softer leather than the 2012 taxis.
