2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

If reports are true, Eagles and Jets may engage in a bidding war for Byron Maxwell's services. He wants $10M-per plus.

Maccagnan's first stint as GM will be interesting. Has no previous experience in the role, and Houston is a hell of a different environment than the pressure cooker that is New York media. I wonder if he'll overcompensate with FA activity to atone for Idzik's overly methodical approach.

Maxwell would be cool

definitely an upgrade over anyone in the secondary

Bush couldn't be any more washed than cj2k was for us this season :smh: do you think his season would of been diffrent of he got most go the work load ?

Clean shaven...

Jaguars expected to hire former Jets GM John Idzik as a consultant, per source.

consultant to what, poop?

if we could come out of free agency with Cro & Maxwell i'll be happy

No thanks to Bush. Rather Spiller to pair with Ivory and either keep Powell as our 3rd or draft someone in the later rounds.

Jameis killed the white board

dude looks like the real, us gettin him would some real good fortune, we're the Jets

The problem with Jameis is HE IS CRAZY. Dude may wow you on the white board but he makes bad life decisions. NY media would eat him alive.

This could be interesting. If we could land him and Cro, that'd be a solid deal.
Reggie Bush got released by the Lions I just heard from a bird .....
I'd rather have Roy Helu or Awntone Smith.

First, Doug Marrone. Now John Idzik.

Every time, I see the infamous Jaguars guy gif. I am like that guy is lucky to be alive. He's a survivor of the Columbine shooting.

We learned our lesson from Chris Johnson, please do not go for Reggie Bush. Wonder if we have a shot at Dez Bryant... (assuming he doesnt get canned from the league)

Wow, I never this, how did you find out?

Dez will probably be tagged, he's not going anywhere

Marrone hiring made a ton of sense. He's going to give the Jags his all to entice better HC offers a year later. You could do worse for an AHC/OL coach.

True, you've got a point.

I am not sure if it's true or not. Few years ago, a guy wrote a story and even posted a picture of the class of 1999 Columbine yearbook. The guy in the yearbook picture looks exactly like the Jaguars fan. Here's what I found it from a message board.

Here's where !! gets weird. As it turns out... Jags Guy grew up in Littleton, Colorado. Does that sound familiar? Of course it does, because that's the home to Columbine High School – of which Jags Guy attended, during the exact same years of the Columbine High School Massacre. Here is the class of 99 Columbine Senior Yearbook Picture with the shooters Eric Harris and Dylan Klebold in the top left corner...

...Jags Guy is dead center with his trademark befuddled expression (view image to zoom in)
