2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

better to build weapons around a mediocre QB than to wait until you have a QB in place to start building the team

Truth. I think because there isn't much money invested in Geno at the moment, they'll want to make things work with/for him as much as possible. Getting Marshall for a 5th rounder was a smart move. Low risk high reward; expecting him to help in the redzone more than when we tried Plax for that year. Bowles seems to be a players coach, but approaches it differently than Rex. He's gonna look out for Marshall's troubles and keep him in check.

The David Harris re-signing though... don't like it for the $15M guaranteed. Seems way too much for a player of his age and is slow as **** . He's the Hitman, so I'm glad he's back, but the price could have been worked better in our favor.

supposedly we're interested in Jeremy Parnell from DAL

anyone know anything about him?

Read he's iffy on pass protection, great, just what we need.

With Mallett staying witht he Texans and Hoyer almost signing with them as well... our next option at QB....

The Great Ryan Fitzpatrick.

have a feeling we're not gonna make any moves until Revis decides where he's gonna play

Mike Iupati and Orlando Franklin signed with different teams. Seahawks' O-line has always been called into question. Carpenter isn't a bad pickup though. Good size and still young. I hope they don't overpay him.

Revis is set to hit free agency at 4 p.m today. it should be fun.
