2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

Packers, Steelers, Pat games are always ref'd different for some reason. There's another team in the NFC but I can't think of it right now, too buzzed.
 
Sheldon Richardson just told the press that when he saw Marty wanting the TO, he was near referee and said call time out on sideline. So then it would stand since the Player said it..........Unreal.


First Rex covered for Marty and now Sheldon is saying all me............so sloppy
 
Mannnnnn, that loss reallly sucked. Milliner/Pryor whiffing on Jordy isn't what you want to see from your first round picks. I'll have more later but this game sucked.
 
I don't want to think about it. I will just get upset. Could have tied it at least

Sheldon wasn't in on the play (obviously), therefore he is a player on the sideline who CANNOT call a timeout; still only Rex could have in that situation.

Cannot believe we lost the 18 point halftime lead though, that's the bigger picture here. Sloppy D and offense in the 2nd half on the road will always do us dirty.

Typical Jets loss for sure :smh: . Must bounce back at home on Monday against Chicago.

 the NFL needs to clean up their mistakes especially the umpires. The Harvin TD vs san diego and this terrible TO call. I thought the umpire should've at least saw who was yelling TO before calling it since the head coach could only call it besides the players. bummer. But then again, jets could only blame themselves for blowing a comfortable 21-3 lead

You guys can't hold on to that botched TO situation. We had plenty of other chances to tie the game after.

The game fell down to poor defense and poor offensive execution at the end of the game. Geno is going to be like Mark Sanchez. He has the tools to be good, but he just doesn't have it.

The sad part all this is that the Jets can be a really good football team this year. They just need to learn how to finish off games and learn how to win. Especially against the better teams. Good teams in the NFL know how to hold onto an 18 point lead and win on the road.

Geno played fine, he got hit on the interception. If it weren't for the nullified touchdown, he finished looking pretty good on the day. Although I have no doubt Rodgers would have marched up the field and won the game for them.

Man, our secondary is just terrible. I never like the Milliner pick and yesterday was evidence why, he sucks. And he had the audacity before the season to yap about being the best corner in the league, dude, shut the **** up. Just horrible, footwork, press coverage, tackling, dude is a bum. Out secondary is so trash and we had the audacity to let Cro walk for no ******* reaosn why the guy was a loyal soldier for us for years. Played injured, took whatever job was asked from him, never complained. Just a ******* waste.

Marshall/Alshon next week followed by Megatron the week after...I'm not very confident at this point.

Also, really dissapointed int he run game yesterday, have to be more creative than that. CJ2K is done, more touches for Ivory in creative ways instead of just RB dives. Line has to play better as well, GB's d-line sucks yet they constantly were getting to Geno yesterday.

Really, really, ******* terrible JETS lost. I'm the biggest Rex guy there is but at some point all the dumb **** this team does starts to reflect on him. Got your guys under control and I want smart football next week. The righting, the penalties all need to go.

Terrified at what Marshall/Jeffery can do against us :frown: .

Thank God the game is at home. Need a repeat of the Packers 1st quarter and bring the house down on Cutler. Forte will be a pain as well, but anything to keep Marshall/Jeffery limited will help our cause.

Hoping Decker will be good to go.
 
Hopefully our blitzes can cause that

Would be a shame if Tressman out-coaches Rex's schemes
