2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

I know it's a little early but is anyone planning to go to the Pats/Jets game in December at Metlife? I just booked a trip to NYC for that weekend and am planning to go.

I would have liked to, but not even thinking about it anymore with this team sitting 1-6.

Unless there is a miraculous turnaround, Jets aren't getting anymore of my money this season.

honestly i went to a dec ganme 4years ago when we played cinn, it was so cold it was unbearable to sit out and tailgate, my beer was frozen once cracked and back then we had a squad, now they aint getting a dime from me esp the way they place against det this yeara and a 1-6 team isnt worth freezing my buns off for

but withj all that said we have to win sunday probably our best shot at salvaging this season and seeing how genp plays out the rest of the season plus our average points total is 15 1/2 since the afl days

i get so pissed with the NY media lately saying geno had a fair qb challange from vick its b/s, they gave vick 25% of the snaps in training camp with geno getting all the rest come on with that whole qb challange

I was at that game. Last game at the old stadium. They didn't sell beer that game so everyone was getting wasted in the parking lot  My brother was supposed to go but said screw this since it was so cold. I went solo, tailgated with some random fans.

The stadium was live that night, they clinched that wild card spot and blew the bengals out.

2009 and 2010 seem like ages ago now but that 09 jets team was appreciated. If only shonn greene never got hurt in the afc title game in Indy. They had the lead and the ground and pound was working before he went down.

I think it's clear we got Harvin

A) for Idzik to cover his offseason blunders
B) to layout on paper Decker/Harvin/Kerley (newly extended) Amaro/Cumberland and say to Geno "You can't make this work? The door is that way..."

I swear and stand by my saying that I think we would have beaten the Saints in 09. Brees was out of this world that year, but I think our run game would have been enough to win it all.

Packers in 2010/11, don't know about that one.

I'm with you on that. If I recall correctly, the saints run defense wasnt anything special that year as well.

I wasn't all that upset over losing in 09, new coach, rookie qb, and almost making the Super Bowl. I was more hyped then anything.

2010 still rustles my jimmies though. If they stopped Pittsburgh on 3rd and 6, who knows what happen.

Forever will have Antonio Brown.

Didn't help us at all though that we went into the half down 24-0 :smh: .

Yeah, falling behind 24-0 didn't help for sure.

Its like they exhausted all their energy on New England the week before.

Hopefully the team is back contending soon though.

Idk about that one. I remember playing them earlier in the year and losing, not looking to good while doing it either. But who knows, anything was possible then.

They got blown out in the superdome.

Defense was effective but Sanchez had quite a few turnovers leading to saints points in that game.

2 weeks to prepare for that offense on a neutral field though. I won't say the wouldve for sure beat New Orleans but I think it would've been a much closer game.

Rapistberger escaping the sack on 3rd and 6th will forever be the most hurtful play I have ever witnessed as a Jets fan

Just
End
The
Season.

People still want to talk about how this is the 'easy' part of the schedule? :smh:
