2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

If your talking QB's those are the "Big Names" and if we're talking overall players who could be a Jet you also got WR Amari Cooper from Alabama. I'm pretty certain those are the 3 players a lot of people would like to see be Jets as of now...
I like Amari Cooper. a lot.

Only problem is who the hell would be throwing to him? We gotta scrap everything I feel, and start from the top - QB.

DeVante Parker in the 2nd round is very enticing.

Get a QB before Cooper. A stud receiver is no use unless you have a servicable QB.

I mean, it's not like Mega didn't have the talent. With a real QB he was able to showcase his gift. It's like the Larry Fitzgerald predicament the past few years. Great talent, but no one there to get him the ball after Warner retired.

Get some football guys and serious talent scouts before drafting anybody. Or we'll be having this same conversation in 3-4 years again.

Lmfao this whole fire john campaign is getting crazy has anyone seen the billboard off the turnpike?

I saw we suck for a good qb but Amani cooper would be a great pick even though we don't have a god qb

I know Rex has got to go but I'm pulling for Jim harbaugh woody give his man the keys and let him cook

Wait, the billboard actually went up?? Need a pic.

Almost feel bad for Idzik. Keyword.. almost.

I believe he paid a firm to get this guy. We nerf football guys, not MBA or accountants.

Coming off a season of disappointment and dysfunction, the New York Jets started the rebuilding process by hiring Seattle Seahawks executive John Idzik as their new general manager.

Idzik, the fourth GM in Woody Johnson's 13 years as Jets' owner, inherits a 6-10 team, a possible lame-duck coach, a lean roster with a handful of immovable contracts, and a polarizing quarterback in Tim Tebow.

"I am honored and extremely excited to be joining the New York Jets," said Idzik, who will be introduced at a news conference Thursday. "I am eager to get started building on the foundation that is already in place."

The Jets set out to hire a GM with roots in scouting and personnel, but they opted for a longtime executive whose background is salary-cap management and contract negotiations. They surely will be criticized because it's an extension of the Mike Tannenbaum model, and he was fired at the end of the season.

@KimJonesSports: I'm told Jets vs Dolphins in London in 2015 will be 1st division game ever as part of international series. It is a Dolphins home game.
