2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

It's so hard to watch Revis in a Pats uniform man

We survived this week gentlemen. Good W. A Pats L would make this day complete.

Played really sloppy today and we'll have to tighten things up a lot to win against better teams. The Raiders sucked and we repeatedly shot ourselves int he foot today. Dropped int, dropped passes, dumb, dumb, dumb penalties...But with that said, when we weren't being dumbasses their was a lot to like. I thought Geno was pretty damn good today and I'll take a W.

Our secondary is going to be tested next week, hopefully Milliner will be back and healthy. With that said, we should be able to run all overrrrr the Packers next week. Johnson and Ivory are going to feast all year long.

Ugly win, but I'll take it. Especially heading to GB next week. I thought Geno played well besides those two turnovers. But I have reason to be optimistic.

I thought the secondary stepped up today and played very well. It seems like our defense and offensive line need to tighten things up and play with more discipline. There's no way we'll be able to hang with the better teams in the NFL if we keep making these mistakes.

I'm still on the fence with Geno, because he still makes some questionable decisions and tries to do too much when it's not needed. Those turnovers are NOT going to help this team. He needs to learn to just check the ball down or slide and give up on the play.

As for the front 7--they are obviously the best part of the team by far. I'm excited to see how well they play against the better teams. I'm looking for Coples for have a breakout season. He really needs it.

I think we can beat the Packer if we play poised and the offense plays in a rhythm.

Note to self: Day drinking is a real ************ .

Had an awesome time at the game yesterday. Tailgate I planned on having + inviting @ElijahDukes to was unfortunately a fail (sorry again man!), but my crew and I made up for it inside and post-game waiting for traffic in the lots to clear out.

Not for nothing, while we looked ugly in the 1st half, I think we came together fine in the 2nd. Despite the inexcusable turnovers, Geno was 23/28, not to mention Salas dropping that gifted TD, and Cumberland had a big drop mid-field as well. Geno was smart and ran when needed. And speaking of the run, Ivory and CNYJ2K :smokin looked great out there them both. Really surprised Carr didn't target the secondary as much as he probably should have, but hey, I'm not complaining.

Onto Greenbay. Won't be easy, but I think since they have a weaker O-Line we will be able to pressure Rodgers some and hold our own.

Got the win, and no injuries. Allen looked better than I thought.

I hated the play calling, putting Vick out as WR isn't fooling anyone and risking Geno to take unnecessary hits is stupid. Scrap it.

On to GB

All I ask if for @onewearz's wife to leave this thread alone. We need SOMETHING, please! I draw the line at football
