2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

My guy Fitz played well. We looked good but we've got to get going earlier. Marshall is SO good to have! GO JETS!

Don't think we realize how easily Marshall abused a top 3 corner. If we're more agressive in the passing game next week he could have a even better game against indy

I want to beat Indy so bad next week

To be 2-0 while pinning down an AFC champ favorite to 0-2 would be great

:pimp: game today. Weather held up, offense was clicking on all counts, D forcing 5 turnovers.. expected to do that against a **** Browns team.

Ivory and Marshall :smokin

Relieved to have read that Mauldin's results came back clean, just a concussion and he has feelings in his extremities. I've never seen a player stand up and collapse like he did. Was really scary live. Kid deserves to play football after making the team coming from such a unfortunate upbringing growing up.

Cro though, didn't catch his injury, I must have been out of my seat. Didn't look good from what I heard. However, call me crazy, but Marcus Williams > Cro at this point in time. If Cro happens to miss the rest of the season, it isn't a total loss.

Onto Indy we go. If the offense can gel like they did today, I smell an upset.

non-contact leg injury

Marcus Williams is a nice player, Skrine gotta step up now

we gotta feed Ivory 25+ times vs Indy

control the clock, don't make mistakes, & we have a shot at winning

Cleveland is a dumpster fire, y'all need to relax with handing Fitz the job

Next two games will be a lot harder. Indy going to bounce back strong and Philly has Super Bowl hype. Really get to see the bigger picture next week.

Sucks that Cro went down but that's the advantage of having depth now, have other guys to step up in his place.

@eallenjets: Great news on Mauldin. He has the concussion, but no neck injury and also has feeling in his extremities. Happy to hear that.

I want an apology from all the people in here who clowned me when I told them MM8 would be good and I would love it if the Jets grabbed him.

I don't care that I like Leonard too. I want vindication!

It's one game, I remember Sanchez looked good in his first game too.

Sanchez is an immensely physically gifted QB.

If he had been drafted into a different more complimentary system he prob would have developed better.

this team is so different this year. Like everyone is on the same page

the defense needs to start games better...yesterday & in the preseason we start off slow then kick it up in the 2nd quarter

He's not very big and he doesn't have that great an arm. What the **** are you talking about?

He was drafted onto a loaded team that could have won the Super Bowl. I know you have USC blinders on but he is/was/always will be trash.

What? He's 6'3", HAS a strong arm and was fairly mobile (could pick up yards on bootlegs and short scrambles when he had to.) the knock on him was that he only started for one year and was super green. He also liked to party and smash **** a bit too much for his own good.

If he had been drafted into a west coast offense or a team that actually wanted to groom him as a passer, he'd be a much different player than he was at the end of his jets tenure. Just look what happened when he stepped in for mediocre *** Nick Foles in Philly. Getting into the right system is half the battle.

Rex just wanted him to hand the ball off and throw play actions. We'd see how effective he was rolling out of the pocket then they'd never call that play again.
