I still say Rex deserves to stay no coach in the nfl could win with a roster this lousy. Not Sean Payton not tomlin not even God himself could save this team until they get a real QB. I'm sorry I can't judge a guy whose best QB was mark Sanchez.

I wasn't a huge fan of the Pryor pick on draft day and now I'm really not liking it. Mike Vick should start the rest of the season though

It this point, I'm not opposed if he stays nor will I be up in arms if he gets the axe either.
I do think he needs to work on certain aspects of his coaching style and in typical jets luck, he'll make those improvements wherever he resurfaces in his second job.
If they fire him, I could see good potential head coaching candidates avoiding the job the same way some gm candidates avoided the jets job due to woody. Ultimately resulting in a Woody Johnson yes man taking the job.
The Jets need to stop looking for the short term solution and the quick fix though. This is rock bottom. 2012 was bad but they were 6-7 with a chance to sneak in the playoffs if they won out going into week 15. 2011 and 2013 were middle of the pack seasons with more underachieving in 2011.
They need to just embrace the rebuild, realize that while they look a bit more vunerable, that division is the patriots until Brady retires. Take the time to put something together that can achieve sustainable success, rather then hope for a 10-6 wild card season every few years.
Sounds easier on paper but they need to reevaluate a bunch of things when this season ends.

Only thing about tanking is the coach needs to be on board.
If you know your job is safe and just tank and play young guys and see who can be part of the long term solution it can happen.
If your coaching for your job or to look good for a future team your trying to win games.
This team is bad though. They can try to win games with Vick or Geno and L's are inevitable.

hate to say this, but it's time for this franchise to 'clean' house. REX has to go. mark went, and now REX has to go. they need a new image, a restart.

Geno is a bum...
I know some people are opposed on getting a QB in next year's draft but it's simple. Our future QB isn't on the current roster.... we have to look elsewhere.

A lot of early mock drafts got Amari Cooper of Alabama being a good fit for Jets and I wouldn't be mad if we got him...

I think we need to go after a veteran QB in free agency. Drafting a rookie year after year will not work in our market.

I don't post much on NT on sundays because i'm with my group of friends and we just watch RedZone all day 
Today was disgraceful. How the **** do you throw 3 picks in 1 quarter. I honestly wouldn't mind finishing 2-14 or 3-13 and getting a top draft pick. There's no way we salvage this season unless some kind of miracle happens.
