Might be a long shot but I hope Winston can also play in the MLB, something like a relief pitcher. He said he would love to play for the Yankees so maybe having him in NY wouldn't be a bad idea...

Draft a rookie with actual franchise talent. I have a feeling they trade for Cutlets though.
Sam Bradford might be out there. There's a couple of dudes including Hoyer but I don't have the list in front of me. I just think we need to let a rookie sit and figure things out instead of instantly throwing him to the wolves.
but who exactly? only guy is Brian Hoyer and I wouldn't pay top dollar for him.

If the situation is a train wreck, its better to let the guy sit initially.
If you got a decent run game and good defense to fall back on as well as a sufficient offensive line then throw them out there but it all depends on the situation of the respective team to me.
he's gotta go. guy is clueless.I don't care what Idzik says, I care about what he DOES...which hasn't been much. 20 mil under the cap for nothing
the thing with sanchez is this, they messed up going into 2011, they let braylon go, they neglected the offensive line, and got rid of cotchery as well, and by 2012 he had a gutted offense. when sanchez had all that i mentioned, the team almost made it to the super bowl. hell he played decent in both afc title game L's as well, especially for a rookie and 2nd year qb, i wouldn't fault either of those losses on him.
offensively, unless the qb was rodgers, brees, brady, or peyton they wouldn't do much with that jets offense in 2012.
a first round draft pick qb especially a top 10 pick is a long term investment.
it's no specific way to develop a qb, but the jets have been getting it wrong for years now. for sure guys like luck and peyton come around once every 10 years or so. other then that it's no guarantee the guy is going to pan out, but it's a good idea to try and help his chances of panning out.
they also got rid of dustin keller who was one of sanchez's favorite targets. they set him up to fail.

All of this. I got tired of defending Sanchez to a lot of people, he wasn't a stud, but he wasn't a bum either. I still think he has potential to be a good QB in the league, but his development was so inconsistent while he was here. Idzik must go man, huge mistake. He also should have brought back Revis, our secondary is getting exposed every game
Whoa whoa whoa now. You don't have to go that far. Sanchez under center would be a welcomed sight at this point. It says a lotBRING BACK SANCHEZ AND GIVE HIM THE LEBRON TREATMENT !!!
