Lets say we scrape out 1 or 2 more wins for the rest of the season, do yall think we'll still be in a position to get Mariota or Winston? The last thing I want the team to do is win the rest of the season and end up with a mediocre pick

I think we can still be in position for one of those players cause only teams that need QB are Jets, Tampa, Titans and as of right now Tampa has 3rd worst record in league and Jets with 4th  and Titans with 5th worst record. So we would have a good shot at Winston or Mariota..

Neither Winston or Mariota look like their games would transition nicely into the NFL. Besides, they don't even look like players who would be successful. IDK what it is, but sometimes just looking at a player, you can tell they're going to be a solid player in the NFL.

Sidenote--Anyone watch Sanchez cook the Panthers last night? I mean, any Jets fan would know that Sanchez is in a fantastic situation in Philly right now. He basically has the same "type" of team he had when he was with the Jets when they went to two AFC title games. He has a strong running game in McCoy, and fantastic receivers to throw the ball to with a decent offensive line. Not to mention, Chip Kelly shows that he has faith in Mark. The defense does a great job on that side of the ball as well.

I was happy for Mark last night. He caught way too much heat here in NY and wasn't given a fair shot. Management basically left him with no one to hand the ball off to or throw to, but expected him to do so much with very little. Even elite QB's in the NFL would had a tough time dealing with that situation.

i think we should resign Vick for 2 years and sit whatever rookie QB we draft behind him and allow them to learn. This franchise eats rookie QBs and I'm tired of seeing it.

And Mark looks SO HAPPY in Philly and I'm glad for him. I truely hope he florishes and shows the league that he is a solid QB.

Panthers had a lot to do with Mark's success last night. They probably have the same secondary as the Jets do, with zero pass rush/pressure. It's a good situation for him, he has a lot of weapons around him too, let's see if he can keep it up.

Yup

It's like playing Madden and the other team starts they're drives with 2 turnovers and you get a special teams TD top of that, easy to look good in that kinda situation.

Did you watch the post game interview on the sidelines? He looked really happy to be out there and in a situation where the entire organization genuinely cares about him and winning. I'm happy for dude.

Samchez :pimp: dude was my favorite Jet at one point man. Rooting for Philly to win as long as he's the starter

Homie was so happy that he celebrated his bday by eating some Cheesesteaks with fans.
He'll always be my guy..
