2019-20 New York Jets season thread. 1-4 (10/21 vs NE MNF)

If we plan on beating the Pats then Ivory will need over 20 touches and Percy will have to be involved more

agree...the game will be tight. it usually is with our two teams. rex knows us well and can usually cook something up to make it tough on brady
i feel it.  should be a good game.

for the sake of the playoffs being interesting i don't want to see new england get the 1 seed.   i don't see no team in the afc capable of following that jets ravens blueprint and going into foxborough in january and getting that W.     pittsburgh is the only team i would consider but their too damn inconsistent,  i don't trust denver for obvious reasons,  the bengals will bengal, and these aren't the 2012 ravens.

on the flip side, i could see new england going into denver and getting a W when it counts though.

i want rex back as well
i'm inbetween on him coming back

if they can find a for sure upgrade who can keep the defense looking good while making significant improvement for the offense then i'm all for it.

if they do their usual jets routine and hire a guy who's never been a head coach because he can be had cheap and will be a woody yes man and he's gone within 2-3 seasons, i rather them keep rex.   the team is trash but aside from the buffalo game they've played hard and still play for their coach when alot of other coaches would've been tuned out at this point.

i wonder if wins over the patriots (possibly costing them the 1 seed) and over miami (potentially eliminating them from playoff contention) would have any impact on his job status at all.

Went to the game and there were lotta Pats fans in the crowd :smh:
Who knows what would have happened if Geno didn't get sacked and Folk makes that FG smh

Jets owner Woody Johnson is preparing to hire former Texans and ******** GM Charley Casserly as a consultant in the event the organization decides to make any changes, per league sources.

I like this move, at least he's a football guy.

i really wanna see what rex could do with a balanced team. i'm totally in favor of keeping him and bringing in a real qb. i think he can still make it work as a head coach if he has competent players on offense.

Looks like woody is hiring Ron wolf as a consultant also...change is coming. Interesting to see how deep the knife cuts.

Black Monday should be fun.

Lmfao I'm also a huge ND fan so I say being in kelly wath him run a chip Kelly style offense

All in all I'm gunna miss rex and all the greatness he brought this lousy franchise in the last 5 years

I wish Rex was staying too but best of luck to where he's heading

The problem I have is that I have no idea what our list of head coaching candidates looks like
