Homeowner shoots intruder who was not pregnant...

The man was straight up victimized in his own home....put yourself in his shoes. Your rage is going to be out of control.

Like I said before...if you're committing a crime, you assume the risk that's involved.

That's all fine and dandy but according to the law, you can't chase someone out of your home, into an alley and then shoot to kill them while they're retreating. That's where it stopped being self defense.

If the altercation was over and people were running, the lady told the dude she is pregnant, and he still shot her twice, he is messed up. I get it that you are in danger, but I'd probably think twice to end two lives at one, especially an innocent one.

An innocent robber?

It's not about them being innocent. It's about the self-defense argument his lawyer is going to argue. It stopped being self-defense when he chased them away, one tripped, and still chose to shoot her dead in an alley.

I fully understand his anger and actions, but according to the law, he was no longer in a life threatening situation that justifies him killing her.

The baby, if she really was pregnant is the only person I feel sorry for.

Robbers, especially those who pick on the elderly get no sympathy from me. If he had a stroke or hit his head during the break in, they wouldn't have been moral robbers and stopped what their doing to get him help.

People can make the argument that what he did was od with the second shot and I won't criticize their opinion on it. However I don't have no sympathy for her whatsoever.

They picked what they thought was an easy target and it backfired. If he was more able bodied or if they knew he was strapped does anyone think they still try to rob his house or they go elsewhere. This is a case of being an opportunist going wrong.

Pretty much.

Like the bully that gets stabbed. Did he deserve it? No but he brought it on himself.

This right here.

Its all easier said than done robbing a house with someone in it is one of the most criminal thing you can do.
He could have had a stroke, heart attack he could have tried to defend himself and get hurt.
As an old person living alone is sad and scary and here comes these criminals making it worse for them.

I was recently robbed and it is extremely emotional to walk in your house and see it violated
I was traumatized when I walked in, I can only imagine how terrible it would be for a 80 yr old to walk in his living and see these guys.

Ima assume those are both mugshot pics so ima just call a spade a spade and say that they were already savages prior to what went down the other night.

I'm totally siding with the old man. I would've killed them too.

Look at it this way. how would you feel if it were your mom scrapping for stuff to help her family and you survive and it and somebody cold murdered her. you know dang well you would be on the channel news saying how the dude was wrong and you want charges pressed

I always tell others always put your mom or dad in the situation or somebody you love the most in their position and ask yourself was this right

His lawyer will just argue that he had to shoot to kill becuase if she didnt die( or wounded untill the point she could not get up) then she could turn around take the gun and kill her.

If I was a juror I would not send this man to jail.

unless that was your mom who got killed

where's goldenarmz to make sense of this

But who's to be sure that they were fleeing the premises or simply running to the car to get a gun of their own? Who's to say that the pregnant woman couldn't have had a weapon concealed herself and used it after she told him to stop shooting? These are all split second decisions, and could have definitely happened, therefore I think the man was justified in shooting the lady mortally...you just never know what could've happened in such a situation
In case people missed it the first time

Gramps gave a 4 minute interview to the newsman

Yup. And he's 80 years old and they had just broken his collarbone. Intense pain, intense adrenaline, rage, and old age. He gonna get off whether the killing was right or wrong

Most old ppl have no filter and give no dambs he didn't know he was digging his own grave just spewing off at the mouth like old ppl do

If he didn't do an interview period this wouldn't have been a story

Well, if there was no interview, everyone would've assumed he shot her in self defense. That would've been awesome. No one would've cared. The interviewed showed that he executed her with no remorse when she was in a harmless position. He did it to send a message.

@mivish - She isn't superman. This isn't a movie. People don't get one last adrenaline rush after being shot down. They came to rob, not kill. He never said he was worried about her using a gun or running to get a gun. He was very clear. He did it to send a message.

1st degree murder charge is expected Friday morning in the shooting death of a pregnant women

bye bye old man
