I'm at that skinny fat stage (TM Audi). I'm literally skinny everywhere, but I have a belly. It's not big, but it's there. I'm 5' 11' 155.

I want to do the Stronglifts program, so my question is what should my diet be? Should I eat more, or eat less, since I do want to gain muscle, but I also want to lose the skinny fatness.

Yeah but let's not talk about my height, don't want toderail the thread. I'm looking for tips to get more mass. Been bulking but stopped since money problems and have a hard time breathing since recently.

Not sure if this has been said in here yet...but make sure you give your body time to rest and rebuild ESPECIALLY if you are new to serious fitness or if you've taken a long break. Also listen to your body...soreness is to be expected, but if the pain lingers or becomes worse then take a break real talk. You're no good if you are injured...meaning it's hard to build and get fit when injured.

This post is for the fatties in here...I mean no disrespect I'm here to encourage. What I'm about to say you will not here from many people especially the guys already in shape.

Process process process. Pay attention and focus on the process and not too much on the end results. Respect the process and the results will take care of itself. It can get discouraging when you've been working out for a few months and you still have a way to go. Some people stop because of that because their focus was on the end result and not the process. You should feel proud that you are consistently working out...cosmetics are cool but in all reality your body is already benefiting long before you see yourself getting ripped.

Another thing to keep things interesting....GET OUT THE GYM every once in awhile...do some outdoor workouts...you can do sprint intervals outside, you can do other HIIT outside and by yourself. I myself prefer to workout away from the box.

I'm in Tampa with my chick this weekend...decided to give my body a rest...lost 6 pounds this week after hitting it hard and cutting out carbs, but I'm still going to do my 5 minute ab routine.

Ask away if you have any questions my dudes.

Diet and consistency is the key...

I was 210 and the result took me dang near 2 years just to get it right...The right diet and routine. It's not easy, I finally cut out alcohol. So hopefully this will give me better results.

What's a good routine (diet and training) to add muscle on a naturally skinny frame?

I've been finding it very difficult to add a little size.
