Worst Casting Ever for a Movie?

Dude on Spawn was terrible. Should of been nino brown..
I liked the movie just because it was spawn and i love spawn. Michael Jai White did kind of suck. But i never thought of it being Wesley Snipes, i do think that would've been ill as hell.....Repped

If Wesley would have taken the role as Spawn we wouldn't have him in Blade

Blade I & II :pimp:

It's a travesty that Spawn hasn't been redone. I didn't mind Michael Jai White in the lead role, but John Leguizamo(?) as one of the villains, and variant Lela Rochan as the least charismatic wife ever.

Michael Ealy is a good actor but man dude played this role horribly in my opinion.

Blasphemy!

I was honestly surprised when I watched the extras for barbershop that he was very intellectual/well spoken

...No racial

don't even know how nobody didn't mention this poor excuse of a movie.

and i believe they had him wearing the 13's in his rookie year. :smh:

Didn't watch this movie, but MJ in Space Jam was horrid

lol its a kids movie b. get outta here with all that. most of the movie was animated. who checks for high level acting in space jam. movie was and still is the ****. and its a must see movie for all kids and their families...im pretty sure they don't make kids shows like that anymore :smh:

Michael Jai White was alright, I don't think Snipes would have been any better.

 Rochan was pretty bad, but Leguizamo was perfect for Clown. One of those performances that really brought the comic to life. The CGI doe.... just terrible... aged like milk.

yea the mummy was a fun series (mainly 1 and 2). frasier did fine imo. it wasn't a role that asked for a lot. it was a fun action adventure movie.

you'd have to be a pretty bad actor to ruin that...

which brings me to this film

Snow-White-and-the-Huntsman-2.jpg

i wanted this movie to be SO MUCH better than it was. they were perfect in casting the queen and the huntsman and they dropped their pants on snow white. this girl's acting is really bad. i really saw crazy potential with this film...a sort of lord of the rings epic of a fairy tale. theron could've gotten the business all day in that movie

but man :smh: movie just wasn't that good. i mean a small part of it was the writing. it could've been a tad stronger. but i think the main failure was kristen's bum *** being in the film.

she's like the britney spears of acting. mad overrated and untalented, but still gets money. somewhow...

Everyone I discuss this movie with says the same as well. She single handedly ruined the movie with her lack of energy and screen presence. Arguably one of the most overrated talents in the business.

Maggie Gyllenhaal as an attractive woman...

I watched The Dark Knight 2 weeks ago and spent nearly the entire movie roasting her

Every time her face popped up on the screen I went off. Even after she was dead I didn't stop

Jessica Alba in all her roles. Very attractive but can't act her way out of a wet paper bag.

And I co-sign with Maggie Gyllenhaal in TDK. She made Katie Holmes look great in BB. Still, Maggie was sexy in Stranger Than Fiction.

Leguizamo played that fat clown to the tee .. Just seen the "the take" and he played that pretty cool as well..

Relevant to the Nas/Belly discussion
laugh.gif

GOTTI:  I thought it was gonna be superbig. I didn't think it was gonna do, like, $100 million, but I thought it would do $50 million, $60 million at the box office, easy. I think all of them killed it, with the exception of Nas.

AZ : Terrible. His acting was terrible.

HARPER:  I had the distinct impression that Nas was very insecure about his acting skills. I was a little shocked that there were extras shouting,"*****, you ain't really no actor. Come on." Whatever insecurities Nas had about being an actor came across on film.

JOHNSON:  Nas was boring. I mean, you can quote me.

METHOD MAN:  I think his level of emotion could've been a bit higher, but that's Nas. I mean, he was doing Nas. I think if Nas did get shot in the leg, he would've came in the house and said it just like he said it, like,"Yo, ****** shot me in my leg, man."

And I mostly like dude's work, but his "southern" accent in Prometheus was distracting and cringe worthy.

I guess not worst casting ever, I just didn't get the need for the accent.

He was great in that, and his 'accent' wasn't even super southern or anything. Like come on.

Braxton did play a convincing corporate goon in veronica mars. 1st season of that show was pretty dope.

 Son said Jaleel White. He got me really envisioning Urkel in that role now  As far as the look I think he could've pulled it off.

:wow: @ there being a Belly 2. I found that out a few days ago. They aired Belly and then I seen Belly 2 on the guide and the Game was in it.

Nobody can ever say the homey Omar (Michael K. Williams) aint pay his dues. I was shocked to see him in this trash flick with the Game! :smh:
I liked Mobsters
Me too.

Don't think it should be in here.

Besides who did dude not like? Lansky? Lucky?
That toad struck by lightning line didn't even make sense. Beyond horrible
That wasn't Halle's fault. That was director's and writer's fault. They did a bunch of rewrites and for some dumb reason left that line in of all his stuff. Dude who wrote it caught mad flack for that

It's like if I write a comedy and then you rewrite it as a drama, cut lines and leave that of course it's gonna stick out.

She still wasn't a good Storm though.
every body in the batman movie with the riddler EXCEPT the riddler

waste of time

I agree.

Jim Carey was the PERFECT ridler.

It was a shame the rest of the cast and movie was SO BADDD :smh:
He was more the perfect Joker. His Riddler was ridiculous.

To this day I feel Nicholson should've been The Riddler and Carey the Joker.

Dude was a great villain in that movie. He played it perfectly
no he was pretty bad...

actually let me rephrase that, he played a character that was poorly written...no matter who played Silva would have looked bad doing it, it was just a bad role period...

Jessica Alba as Sue Storm in Fantastic Four pisses me off every time

Eddie Murphy as Jimmy Early in dreamgirls is hilarious and awful

Beyonce in any acting role is miscast

Tyler Perry in that Alex Cross movie. I didn't even see the film and I can tell you it was ***.

David Arquette in all the Scream films literally would have me cringing
