The Official S&T Confession Thread Vol. "Okay, I Admit I Was Wrong About _____"

After watching CDR in the tourney I thought he was underrated as a pro prospect, and would have a better NBA career than D.Rose

 Damn that's a bad one.

Like many others, I didn't think Curry would be as good as he is now. I remember thinking his lack of athleticism would severely hinder him in the NBA. Also remember his handle was shaky as **** during the 2010 FIBA World Champs. Credit to him for that work ethic though. Owns one of the dopest handles in the league now and one of my favourite players

In 2002 when I stopped hating Favre (not sure way), I predicted with conviction that the Colts and Packers would face each other in the Super Bowl. I don't think I've missed on anything more in my life

Iverson was always my all time fav player but finding out what kinda person he really was crushed me . So I wasn't as salty about the way his career ended as I used to be.

I'm sure a lot of people feel this way

I thought Eddy Curry would average 20 and 10 his first year with the Knicks
I thought Kwame Brown would be a solid pro
I thought Michael Beasley wouldn't miss a beat at the next level and would be a better fit for the Heat than Derrick Rose
I thought Darko would amount to something

I really thought when Bassy got on the Cavs he was gonna have a couple good years

Nope. Bust as usual.

I thought John Wall would be a bust and Evan Turner would be better than him............................ I win the thread

thought Earl Clark would be a all-star in the league...thought he would be what PG today, boy was I wrong.

also Anthony Randolph would be nice.

Anthony Randolph. I was convinced he was going to be a star the way he was playing at the end of his rookie year and summer league before his sophomore year.

I thought that:

Evan Turner
Earl Clark
Terrance Williams
Johnny Flynn
Michael Beasley

would all be successful in the NBA

I gotta go with Beas.....I was actually glad we had the 2nd pick in the 08' draft because I thought Beas>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>>> Rose/Love/Westbrook

I was also wrong about Le6ron resigning with us this off-season.....:smh: too soon

I said that Monta Ellis was and would always be a better all around basketball player than Stephen Curry.  (Still think Monta is one of the more underrated players in the game though).

MAN...i was coming in here to post this EXACT same thing! Hell, EVEN the last part in paranthesis I HELLA agree with you.

I thought Matt Barkley was going to be a STAR.

In 2008 or so, I really wanted Byron Scott to take Phils place. Here in 2014 I already want him fired.
