Put in for a raffle today and the store manager was telling me that there have been complaints of mutiple people, winning in the mall at multiple stores and selling them for a profit on mall property. So on Fridays all the store managers get together and exchange list of the winners to see that no one name will appear multiple times. Then make calls accordingly. Anyone else's mall doing this?
I have a feeling that the FootLocker reservation system they're testing is working on cracking down on people entering at multiple malls and winning multiple pairs.

If I were in charge of developing it, I would have the user select the stores they are willing to travel to, and enter payment information. Once the "raffle" is completed the stock would be allocated one per verified account and the user charged and notified as to what store to pick up their pair.

This would stop people from winning multiple pairs and cut down on unclaimed pairs. Since corporate would be allocating the stock and basically telling the stores who to sell the shoes to, it would cut down on the backdooring and resellers snatching up FSR.

It's going to be interesting to see how it plays out and if the others implement similar systems.

^Just like the SNKRS draw system for in-store pick up...enter the draw, select the store for pick up, and automatic payment/charge if you hit?

That's what I think it's going to be.

In a nutshell, yes but with a little flexibility in where you pick up your order. If they combined this with online as well, they could put a major dent in reselling. Sucks for the people who like to double and triple up, but t would get more shoes into more fans' closet and offer a better customer service experience overall.
