So no nudity or f bombs?

I loved john wick and equalizer by the way

Sucks that I have to watch it in 3d tomorrow. There's only 2 showtimes for the regular version.

So 3d not wort it? I got free pass that lets me see regular or 3d. Which should i view this movie in?

Nah no 3d needed, there were literally only 1-2 scenes where I could tell the 3d was in use, and even then it wasn't like a movie actually meant to be in 3d.

Just watch 2D bruh. Honestly, the colors in the movie already got me sweating, so the thought of 3D glasses darkening everything is a no go for me.

No IMAX

Will only be shown on Standard and 3D

The women in the movie are gorgeous

Zoe Kravitz :smokin

really really enjoyed this movie. the more i read about it, the more i want to watch it again.

unfortunately i think it's going to bomb this weekend, maybe even finish behind age of ultron in the box office numbers. according to the staff i talked to at my theater, none of the mad max showings sold out the entire day (i went to the 10:30pm showing) and it was VERY slow. even during my viewing, it was less than 50% full.

meanwhile, pitch perfect 2 had lines out the door :smh:

Not surprised Pitch Perfect 2 won the box office this weekend. Mad Max is an R rated movie going up against a sequel to a popular predecessor. More of a wider audience to make money domestically.

However, I do think Max will have the longevity in the box office similar to what Kingsman did earlier this year becuase word of mouth has been excellent and will more than likely have repeat viewings.

This movie will stay steady at the box office because of the reviews, it will pick up steam and gain a bunch of people who planned to wait for home release

I plan to see it this week sometime

Seen this last night. I liked it alot. Tom Hardys acting sucks lol but everything else made up for it. Mad Max 2 The Road Warrior is still >>>>>>>>>>>>
Tho

Never seen the OG. Almost all Hardy's dialogue sounded ADRd to me. Didn't get that effect from anybody else.

Liked it. Would watch again.

Saw it I was particularly hyped after second release trailer and even more so after the reviews. And it lived up to it all. The musci and acting was great in my book.

Had to watch in 3d and the 3d effects weren't that bad. It was good for the jurassic world trailer.

Movie was awesome. Definitely one of the best movies i've seen at the theater in years.

Charlize was great in it. Hardy was good. Didn't know Nicholas Hoult was in the movie.

The young women / breeders / wives in white were looking good. Zoe Kravitz was the only one rocking hard nips the whole movie.

Saw it in RPX great experience. Huge screen i sat in the middle and the movie was in my grill, leather cushioned seats and best sound possible.
Action from beginning to end. You can feel the speed from the chases. Left me with a stiff neck after 2 hours lol

How come they didn't show them driving through that swamp area again on the way back to the canyon? I thought cars would get stuck again.

I'm definitely in the minority when I say this film was pretty disappointing. All the action and stunts and whatnot were cool, I just wanted more storytelling or plot development. The movie had like a 2hr runtime on the dot; I wouldn't mind if they threw in another 30-45 minutes for some plot dev.

I never saw the OG Trilogy but I tried last night. The first put me to sleep and I watched about an hour into the second one this morning but my laptop died. I had to go get my charger but I wasn't hooked enough to feel the need to finish.

But yeah, I guess this series just isn't for me.

I think you did it wrong. You should have watched the first 3 and then saw this new one. If you went into this movie with 0 knowledge of the world and tone that was set forth in the previous 3 movies it makes sense that you would have those feelings.

The first 3 movies are essentially B movies. Fury road took it to the next level and really brought it up to the bar of modern film making and action.
