Since they took away homers wig cleaning up steroid use...

I wish more cats would entertain like David Ortiz.

Baseball rules are terrible. You can hit me with a ball at 95 mph...

But I'm wrong to flex after I cranked a homer...

Or even chase you down and beat the crap out of you with the bat.

I might get a bunch of "OK" or "go back to general"...

But I wondered if anyone else feels the same.

baseball players don't like to be shown up. it's not like basketball where embarrassing the guy in front of you is applauded. hit your homer, jog yourself around the bases and move on

Baseballs "unwritten rules" are a joke and a terrible look for the sport.

Pitchers get mad because a guy shows a little emotion after hitting a home run, so they intentionally drill him or an innocent teammate to prove a point. This is 2014, not 1954.

The irony of it is that these same pitchers will celebrate excessively as well at times after getting a key strikeout or getting a guy to ground into a double play to get out of a jam but are willing to plunk a guy who celebrates hitting a home run off of them. If their an American League pitcher, they don't hit so they don't have to worry about gettig plunked in retaliation.

What cole hammels did to Bryce Harper a few season like that, stuff like that has no place in baseball. Getting hit with a 90 mph fastball hurts and enforcing some silly unwritten rules is unnecessary at times to me.

There may be but I've always thought some of the stuff in baseball is over the top.

Some guy on the rangers got mad that a blue jays player bunted last week during a game.

I've never been cool with intentionally beaning an opposing player though. That's unnecessary.

was the game out of hand or something?

Colby was dead wrong with his rant

As far as celebrations, I think both pitchers and batters should feel more comfortable showing some emotion out there. But it will take a while for attitudes to change

I have more of a problem with Chris Archer poppin' off at the mouth after the game when he had opportunities following the flip to bean his ***. Ortiz was on some other ****. :smh:

Baseball needs more bats flips

Opposing players shooting arrows at Rodney

ect...
