I thought Futebol was growing in America? We got one regular white dude and one regular black dude? That's it?

Guess it's still a long ways away. Lol

I am glad liverpool got the tie.  They looked the better side.  But terrible defending on the Debuchy goal.

They need sturridge back.  He would make such a big impact.  Once they moved Sterling back to left outside he was cooking Chambers.  If they had a striker and he could have stayed outside all game they would have benefited greatly.  Just like when Swansea played arsenal and Jefferson Montero (i think) was destroying Chambers allllll game.

Terrible finishing by the Reds though... Could've been a massacre had they converted those shots. Rogers needs to work on squad finishing drills this week... Looked like the El Niño school of finishing out on the pitch...

Yesterday I had quite possibly the most random yet cool lunch I've had in years. A family member introduced me to an older gentleman from Spain. He has a consulting firm which does business between Spain and African countries. Some of the work he's done was assisting with the organization of the bid for the 2010 SA WC. And due to his friendship with Florentino from way back in the day, he was instrumental in the organization of the friendly with Real Madrid and a local football club, however it never happened due to financial reasons from local football governing body.

We discussed the bidding process, and how these things come about. So I asked him what does he think about Qatar. He assured me that Qatar will go ahead, cloaked under the guise that no country should be excluded just cause of their climate, but later he stated the reality is WC's are organized for political and financial reasons and because Qatar has the financial muscle (and the fact that they're willing to do whatever it takes), it will go ahead despite all of the inquiries and complaints.

I agree.  Coutinho and Marcovic (sp on both?) had great chances that they missed.  But to Coutinho's defense he is usually a decent striker of the ball and the two chances he had late and completely mis-kicked looked like they wouldn't settle.  The pitch was really choppy in the box.

But Marcovic was dangerous most of the game...imagine if that was Sterling out there and Balo was up top (I don't really like Lambert and he has never really impressed me, i think Borini should get more time then lambert up top)

Hey man, not many sculptors or artists in the small island of Madeira, not surprised the statue looks terrible lol.

The beauty is in the island itself.

God damn, why's it so cold in England right now. Eva Carneiro has this long coat on, covering her whole body :smh:

What a waste man

SILLY SEASON: Manchester United have offered €150m for Gareth Bale. Real Madrid will not sell unless the player wants to leave. [Cadena COPE]

Back from Paris..Had a great time at the game.. sat with the Ultras which made for a great atmosphere even though the results could have been better. Game finished with 0-0 and was kind of boring... Zlatan is so lazy on the pitch but is still somehow EVERYWHERE.. PSG fans booing Cavani while he left and then fighting with each other over doing it  .. his first touch is horrible btw..

Can anyone explain with Xavi's decline why Cesc left Barca? Did he want to leave Barca that much or did Barca like Rakitic that much?
