I don't think Bale is going anywhere now, I think ideally Real Madrid want to play Reus, Ronaldo, Bale up front in the future. As Ronaldo gets older, think he'll get into a striker role. Benzema will get his games but he'll be the 2nd option and Chicharito will obviously be gone. Which makes things :wow: :x

Plus these dudes are about about to land Pogba as well this summer after they let Khedira go :x

Real are really taking this galactico thing to a whole new level, them boys are dirty! But everybody wants to play in Madrid I guess. Manchester United will have to settle for the players Real let go or the players they don't want.

^^^ basically.

Bale isn't going anywhere, Reus and/or Pogba will be in blanco next season.

Watched the game in tidbits while in class, I couldn't even pay attention to the lecture, I was so upset.

Don't know what Simeone does to make all of his players play so well, especially with what he's got, but hats off to him.

I'm more upset Torres scored twice than the actual elimination.

Didn't get to comment on the Elche vs Barca game earlier... Excellent outing for Sergi Roberto. Loved what little I saw of ter Stegen. He handled the ball outside of the box almost as much as he did inside. Bartra looked great too.

Munir & Traore looked very meh. Traore looked ok in the wide areas but not so much in the final 1/3 of the field.

Halilovic looked active, even had a shot ring off the goal post.

Gerard Gumbau did a great job of getting to the ball breaking up Elche's possession & also helping to recover possession for the Blaugrana. Not a bad debut.

Disappointed that Edgar Ie didn't get to see the pitch... Need to see what this centre back looks like...

All in all, ok but you have to temper the fact that Barca played a side at the very bottom of the table...

Edit -

Because we are United, we should be buying Reus' not Bale's.

Modric is going nowhere. I look at him like the Busquets of Madrid...the guy you may not always see, the man before the assist, the man that can control the tempo of the game and turn things around.
True, but you can argue that people don't want to come him anymore.  we weren't even Shaw, ADM, and Falcao's first option. We can't be that United, if we continue to be unstable and uncertain.

Modric is a pipe dream, he's the guy we need. I'm hoping Real signs Pogba and they send him packing here.

He's gone bros. And nothing we can do about it.

Torres scored more goals in one game for Atletico than he did in two months for AC Milan smh, Diego Simeone must be one hell of a coach
