FIrst Messi has a buyout clause that's about 170m gbp. Also, people are forgetting that clubs can sell players to fund Messi. Just like how Chelsea were able to spend 100m gbp easily last yr. Chelsea are also about to sign a new kit sponser deal with Turksih Airlines. Im pretty sure it will be a increased if the can get Messi. Now im not saying that Messi will be joining Chelsea or any other club but its not as impossible as you guys make it seem to be. Just a few yrs ago people thought 80m gbp was way too much of a price tag for any player

According to ESPN FC, La Pulga's buyout clause is 250 million euros ($295 million). Post is written by Gab Marcotti who is a stellar footy writer. Post talks about the financial reality of a Messi move.

Edit - BTW, the article points out due to the transfer ban, Barca couldn't accept a player in an effort to lower the transfer fee so whatever club that wanted to try & pry Messi away would have to pay straight cash homie.

Getting the grill ready....got a Corona in hand...some ribs I'm going to throw on and watch the game...

I go to my satellite decoder to put on an automatic reminder to switch channels for the game...

Only to find out my satellite provider didn't pick up coverage of the Copa Del Rey this year (they do every year)...had me standing there like...

Splurged on a NT thick Andrew Marc sheepskin coat, plus leather gloves to brave the winter.

Happy New Year, fellas. Health, wealth, and happiness to all.

Should I give you my coat?

I'd be happy with 34 degree temps...

Some of you still not all the way onboard with Raheem huh?

Sterling possesses a level of technical skill Bale can only dream of. Like Bale he's also a top 99.99 percentile elite athlete. Hell when it comes to overall soccer specific athleticism i.e. everything else in addition to running fast, I'd even give Sterling the edge. Plus he's 5 years younger and 5x more versatile.

Honestly I haven't gotten to see much of Sterling the last year or so to know how well he's putting it all together but I'll never forget his first full campaign a couple years ago at 17. Kid's potential is limitless.

Good looks, sounds no different than getting tickets to events here. The only question is do the same rules apply for El Clasico in March. I'm prepared to spend half a grand just to be in the stadium.
el classico is trickier.. the tickets for all matches usually don't go up for sale until a couple weeks out (2-3) which make planning a trip around it kinda hard.. i didn't want to risk it so i bought mine from viagogo for el classico (350 a ticket).. my friend waited and was able to get hers for face value (60 euro) but again it all depends on how close your willing to wait..

when i got my tickets for a reg game i used FCB website and it was super easy..

so who you guys got today Real or Atletico

Would have easily chose Real pre Valencia loss. Still got them winning today (maybe a draw)

Speaking of Los Blancos, the 16 year old Norwegian midfielder Martin Odegaard has apparently signed with the club.... :rolleyes

apparently real rolled out the private jet and all to go get him.. just don't see how they appeal to such a young player.

barca's had two consistent problems:

they have appointed lesser managers (even pep was a risky decision ) and since pep they haven't gone out and replaced him with a manager of similar quality.. they should be looking at Klopp imo

they have ignored their defensive problems..

Nah beans... No one at the club would entertain the thought of Kloop coming to Camp Nou (realistically speaking). Plus I think he'd go to the Prem first if he ever leaves Dortmund.

I've said from jump since Pep left that Frank De Boer should get the chance.
