Lampard lacing up...well this is awkward

Good decision to move Silva on the left and Lampard in the center. Milner just needs to stay in the mid and track back.

Typical Mourinho park the bus

Funny how one manager plays to draw at home and the other for the win. Whatever. Still a lot of games left to catch up.

Mou playing the "campaign" tho...still 5 points up with an easier schedule. Draw is much more beneficial to Chelsea than City.

That Navas corner kick :x

You know how you cringe when a striker gets the ball and hasn't been able to score a goal in forever, as a fan you feel bad; Torres & Altidore for i.e.

I get the same way watching Navas, but not for scoring, just for kicking a regular cross. This dude really can't buy a cross

Never seen something like this before

Fixed.

Yes he is, tactical in that sense but it's no different than bottom of the league teams doing the same when they draw an elite team.

What more can I say though, Mourinho has perfected it. Just extremely annoying to watch, almost as bad as watching Navas trying to deliver balls on the right wing.

Well said. I'm relatively new to regularly following fútbol, but I remember casually watching highlights in past campaigns (pre-'14) in which Navas had some nice crosses that resulted in late-game goals, but some reason, Navas this season bears no semblance to the Navas of yore...I can't think of a single starting fullback, let alone another winger, at a big/wealthy club that crosses as poorly as Navas does.

Valencia, Ashley Young and Luke Shaw come to mind

But foreal tho, I don't think he was this bad at Sevilla. He showed flashes of brilliance when he came to City. Nice footwork, pace, vision...it all accounts to nothing now since all he prefers to do is whip it in.

The funny thing is who the hell does he think he's crossing to? Aguero and Silva are just as tall as him  I can understand if players like Ibra or Mandzukic were in the box, but he's delusional just whipping it in constantly. I know he's had some brilliant crosses and ground crosses but it's getting tedious to see it EVERYTIME he gets the ball.

What boggles my mind is when defenders raise their arms for offside when the game is STILL IN PLAY, especially when they're in hot pursuit of the attacker (which seems to happen every single time there's a might-be-offside play). Like, why do it? It obviously slows you down, distracts you from the play at hand, and it's not like just because you raise your arm the linesman is going to second-guess what he saw.

Hazard pocketed again by Sagna. :smokin

He may not be the best offensively, main reason many Arsenal supporters wanted to "upgrade" our RB, but he pockets all top widemen he comes up against. I always felt we should have kept him with and eye for being our 3-4th choice CB with an option to put him at RB to go against players like Hazard, Reus etc for the big games.
