^ United's debt rose to $583.9 million (£380.5 million) also which is ok given the revenue they bring in. I find if funny the Glazers bought the club on credit & continue to take chunks of profits from the club to line their own coffers.

The United supporter mentioned it in the vid I posted. At some point it'll crash for the Prem. No one thought it would happen to Serie A during their hey day of the 90s & early 00s. They had record TV deals, sky high revenues, teams were doing well domestically & in European competition, it all came crashing down.

Say it ain't so Ivanovic

FA won't charge him though, Chelsea and Everton will be charged with "failure to control their players"

Damn does this mean no Messi to Chelsea :rolleyes

Players sign new deals all the time. Bale signed a new deal at Tottenham before making a move to Real. Same thing with Suarez. He signed a new long-term contract at Liverpool in December 2013. It's all insurance. It just makes Hazard more expensive for another club to come in and sign him. I just hope Hazard stays at Chelsea for a long time. Mourinho already confirmed that we have no chance of signing Messi anyway. Don't get me wrong. I'd definitely love to see Messi coming to Chelsea. We'd have to sell our big stars in order to finance the Messi deal which I'd rather not.

I'm glad FA decided not to charge Branna.

For more information, you can check this out.

Chelsea manager Jose Mourinho refused to discuss the issue after his side’s 1-0 win, threatening to walk out of his press conference when asked about Ivanovic's role.

 :pimp:
Such a boss.

Just saw Ramsey news. It said he could miss another month again. Wow, his third hamstring injury this season?

Man does Arsenal hire the medical staff from the same school as the Blazers. They can never have a key player not injured

I really don't understand it, year after year it's the same story. Btw they brought on the German NT's fitness coach after the world cup. One of the best in the world.

Awww the little Aston Villa fan wrote to Jose asking if he'd manage his club & Jose sent him an autographed pic.

In case you can't make out the text, the kid's letter states -

“Dear Mr Mourinho, My name is Jude. I am 6 years old and I support Aston Villa. You are my favourite manager. Please could you manage Villa and bring Costa with you? We need help. Thank you Jude Branson.”

 @ "We need help." Not sure why I think that's so funny. I actually chuckled. Poor lil fella.

Welcome to the world of private equity/leveraged buy outs

I also chortled out loud at the "we need help" part

Smalling now has 2 more goals in 2015 than Rooney.

smh
The guy's playing deep in the midfield... won't get many opportunities from there.

Also, for those few minutes, Wilson + RVP did look better than Falcao + RVP.

Well that's the problem. Rooney is a proven goal scorer, yet he's in the midfield while Herrera sits on the bench.

I fully expected Wilson x RVP to look better than RVP x Falcao cause RVP and Falcao are essentially the same player.

RIP to 60 Min's Bob Simon who died in a car accident in NYC last night. He covered all kinds of violent "hot spots" in the world over the years like the '72 Hanoi offensive & the fall of Saigon as well as warzones like Grenada & Somalia. Sa only to die in a car accident yesterday. Sad that he died in a car accident of all things. One of my favorite features from him for obvious reasons.
Good post. I had forgotten about this... here's the follow-up.

Nice video. May his soul rest in peace.

- Ronald Koeman and Harry Kane have been named Barclays Premier League manager and player of the month for January
- Kane set for England call
- Southampton's striker Dani Osvaldo joins Boca Juniors on loan until the end of the season
- Lukaku eyes move to a top club
- Chris Ramsey is expected to be appointed interim QPR manager
- West Ham striker Andy Carroll looks set to miss the remainder of the season
- Ronaldinho set to join Angolan side Kabuscorp
- Hodgson's message to van Gaal: Rooney belongs up front, not in midfield
- Saul turned his back on Real Madrid

Again, congratulations to Kane

Just saw this video. Thought i'd share it.

Reading the comments section on that article about Rooney's best position was funny.

Any comment suggesting Rooney isn't best as a striker or that he's declining got plenty of negs

I think he's best as an attacking mid for the record but I haven't seen United play except probably one time this year.

The Three Lions have bright futures. It's been a long time since they won World Cup in 1960s. I don't know if Neville is the right person you want to see him coaching England. Correct me if Neville said he thought playing for his county was a waste of his time few years ago.

what do you guys think
As an Englishman I have to be pessimistic

It will be the same old story as always... we'll get a 6-0 win against someone like Moldova... or a lucky 1-0 against Germany in a meaningless friendly...

and that will be it...

Front pages of The Sun & Daily Mirror hailing the team as "World beaters!" ...podcasts and radio phone-ins going berserk with delusional fans touting our chances IF X and X goes our way... Lineker and Morgan tweeting endlessly that "This is our year!"

And then... FLOP, BANG, WOLLOP... England crash out at the group stage, 2nd round or Quarters at most... The Sun & Daily Mirror will bemoan the team's unfulfilled potential, podcasts and radio phone-ins will drivel on with excuses that IF only X and X had gone our way... Lineker and Morgan will take to blaming the team's exit on each other via snide tweets.

And the cycle will begin all over again for the next 2-4 years.

Two things I have come to accept never happening in my lifetime... England winning the World Cup and Spurs winning the title.

But hey, it's the taking part that counts

Any of yall have experience purchasing Chelsea tickets??

My boy is trying to attend the Chelsea v Liverpool match in May and he is about to settle on their match day hotel package.... He's been speaking to their ticket reps and some expat season ticket holders and he gathers that that is the only sure fire way to guarantee tickets... It's like £600 :x

Surely there has to be a better way no?
