Run and tell that :smokin

 This guy. You also said Huntelaar was buns yesterday and he stay having highlight goals against Real in the CL.

A lot of cats in this thread fire off these buckshot approach matter-of-fact statements throughout the matches and I'm sure if we looked at the numbers... We'd all be shootin Shaq at the free throw line figures with our predictions.

With that said, 3-0 arsenal in the second leg. Belee dat :pimp:

David Luiz!!!

Just caught the match on my DVR. That header was inspiring. Back at the Bridge and dude showed how bad he wanted it with that and helped will his guys against odds to victory. Dude was on the outside for Mourinho, but my man is flourishing in France. Fully appreciated and allowed to shine

Not sure if it's me just procrastinating on my midterm, but i can't stop thinking of that match

I think any true fan of sports, that understands the emotion that goes into it can appreciate what we witnessed today.

The unfair red, PSG trying to get over the hump in Europe, manager on the hot seat, and then 2 of the most CB pairing ever bringing PSG back twice. And them outscoring their ex-compatriot and main opponent in Costa 3-0 over the 2 legs.

 I'm struggling to write a paper tonight and my mind is still on the game too. This was by far one of the most embarrassing days of being a Chelsea fan that I can remember. The amount of bus jokes I got harassed with today :smh:

Games like today have me questioning our players and Mourinho. How come against any decent opponent Chelsea struggle to possess the ball? Its like these guys just don't know how to do it if they aren't playing Crystal Palace. How come players like Fabregas and Oscar are touted as world class playmakers but when its time to play the big boys fade away into averageness? How come a team that just got Zlatan freaking Ibrahimovic sent off can't take advantage and push the game to the opponents? Why is it that such a good "defensive" team gives up all these free headers in the box? Jose always preaches about surviving away and winning at home, why are we still parking the bus at the Bridge while up a man?

These questions are gonna bother me for a long time. We will still win the EPL but this performance was suspect. Whenever I hear people mention the elite teams in Europe they always say Real Madrid, Bayern, and Barcelona. I'm always arguing well what about Chelsea? I think today proved that Chelsea are still significantly behind those three clubs

really think this chelsea team look worn down.. has a lot to do with the lack of rotation from Mou. Crazy to not see Mourinho go for the throat once Zlatan was sent off..
Luiz can get all the credit in the world for that header but his man marking was still very terrible IMO..

The players being worn out is definitely a possibility and Mourinho REFUSES to switch it up. Man plays favorites too much.

Oscar? He is what he is at this point. Any improvements would be developing a consistent level of play but nothing about him says he'll hit a world class level of play.

Filipe Luis and Remy definitely deserve a few starts. We needed guys who can attack and both of them do that quite well but nah...let's just go for a stroll at Stamford Bridge.

what a great game to watch between PSG and Chelsea. Everything that could go wrong for PSG went wrong. The terrible Red Card call. Diego Costa some how not getting tossed on different occasions...the pk (which was a pk but hell he let everything else go). Then to have Thiago Silva have his first header saved i thought that was it. But on the resulting corner the beautiful looping header....well deserved PSG.

I hope they don't actually suspend Zlatan for an extended period of time

I'm glad Bayern won big yesterday. They dominated Shakhtar & took their hearts out. Shakhtar played bully or prison ball during their home match & just parked the bus.

After the third goal, you could see Shakhtar just gave up collectively & didn't bother playing the rest of the game.

This pic pretty much sums it all up.

UEFA have confirmed that Zlatan Ibrahimovic's red card vs. Chelsea will not be rescinded. He will miss at least 1 of PSG's 2 QF clashes.

@Jon_LeGossip
UEFA will review the Ibrahimovic dismissal next week & decide whether or not it merits the current 1 match ban or a greater sanction.

Ramires should have been taken off the pitch at some point yesterday in favor of Cuadrado. As a matter of fact Rambo shouldn't have even started. That pace could've been used in the deep midfield later in the game.

Costa had a chance where he shot It and skied it instead of passing it to a wide open Fabregas to his left

As much as I hate to say this but we really missed Mikel in the midfield yesterday. Had Mikel been able to come in instead on zouma he would have shored up the midfield. PSG had their way with us there.

I'm not a coach. Chelsea just disgusted me with their play yesterday.

Which one is it?

I think the bottom tweet must've came first & then the top tweet came later... I guess... :rolleyes

 @ Les Anglais... That's all I'll say. :D

They came in that order.  I guess it means that he'll miss at least 1?  And if the offense was bad enough (I'm guessing not), UEFA has the right to add to the ban?

Yea, makes sense. Anything that has to do with technology or making the game correctable Platini is completely against. Admitting a ref was wrong is something Platini will never do.

Platini and UEFA, no surprise.

The human-element is very important. [emoji]9757[/emoji]

Yea, my father and I argue about this all the time. He feels the same way Platini does (who was also his favorite player of all time). That ridiculous arrogant excuse of "the human element" :x

Can't stand it

Juan Mata used to go through the same 2nd half slump when he was our playmaker.

Still interested in seeing what Cuadrado can do for us. Haven't seen enough of him to form an opinion yet

This Sevilla Villareal game is getting good. Sevilla took the lead early but Valencia keeps putting pressure.
