Did not deserve to win that, flukiest win so far this season... and that's saying something!

Pleased for Harry though, ugliest hat-trick ever, but top scorer in the league

I've posted before that actor Vigo Mortensen is a long time San Lorenzo fan. He lived in Argentina when he was a child. He also like Real Madrid & he didn't have kind things to say about Jose Mourinho.

onstant moaning and complaining.

He explained all in an interview with Grantland:

‘Well, there’s a real character whom I loathe but find entertaining — José Mourinho, the coach of Chelsea.

I like Real Madrid, and when Mourinho coached them, he basically destroyed the team psychologically.

The damage he did to the fan base and the whole structure of the club will last for a while. He was playing a match two days ago in the Champions League against Paris Saint-Germain. It was the return match, and Chelsea had the advantage of an away goal in their first match, and it was unlikely that things were going to go well for Paris.

Then partway through the first half, Paris unfairly had a player thrown out. So they were playing 10 against 11. Chelsea should have creamed them.

But it ended up being an epic 120 minutes, with comeback after comeback, and even though Paris was playing with a numerical disadvantage, they kept playing really beautiful, pure football, and Chelsea was just playing not to lose.

In the last minutes of regulation time, Paris tied it up, and in the last minutes of extra time, they tied it again. Since they had two away goals compared to the one away goal Chelsea had, Paris went through.

It was great, dramatic. It was almost like watching a movie.

Not really interested in a lot of the matches today so I cleaned out my dvd deleting some games but I was watching some of them before I did. Had both Monaco/Arsenal games among them. Joao Moutinho is an under appreciated player. I really like watching him play. His dribbling, touch with the ball, the vision on the pitch. I wonder why bigger clubs haven't looked at hime or given him a shot?

:smh: you guys organizing a meet up the summer AFTER i leave europe... hopefully for you guys the euro wills stay down cuz right now its barely above the dollar :pimp:

Expecting my United villa tickets in this week.. dude offered me his arsenal game tickets as well.. thinking about it

Everton and Spurs were the closest to signing him before, think there may have been United rumors too but it never happened. I thought he would have been great there.

He did get sold for 25 Million tho during that brief time Monaco was spending money like nothing, not sure which teams would have matched that.

J. Moutinho is the best player on Portugal besides Ronaldo (waits for a certain someone to quote this and post nonsense essays and clips about Nani). He actually might be the most consistently good player on the team, although that isnt saying much

Glad he left Porto so I could finally cop his jersey without being stoned to death by my family (Benfica fans )

That Porto team was too damn good. It's a damn shame that Portuguese clubs are feeder clubs these days. Developing/finding talent for cheap and selling for $$$ is good business but HORRIBLE for the fans

My son's U11 finished the second session of futsal as champs defeating a U12 side. If you remember, his team also finished as champs in the first session which means his team is undefeated through 16 games of both fustal sessions!

His first leg of the play offs for the second session of indoor footy begins tomorrow night.

If all goes right, we'll face this team made up of a few U11 &U12 academy kids that were mixed together separate from their regular club teams to get a run in next Sunday in the championship.

Can't wait for the clasico tomorrow. Should be a great game.

Edit - Interesting fact per Sid Lowe, Iker Casillas first conceded goal was by Luis Enrique. :smokin

Oddly enough, below is a vid of Ray Hudson's first visit to Camp Nou.
