Lol, damn a lot of talk telling me to piss off. I respect it lol.

But I might have to change the poll because I for sure didn't think it'd be a dead heat. Would have thought it was "footy" by a margin.

So with robben out for about 2 months, are bayern still favorites for the champions league?

Robben is a fantastic player and an integral part of the team, but is it really fair to say Robben = Bayern?

Bayern have so many talented players, and a very talented manager that they will make a plan.

Bayern is a real life FIFA squad so they'll be fine.

Got 80+ rated players from the starting 11 to the subs.

Speaking of United my villa tickets came in today.. Flying out next Friday and suppose to meet the team that day with the game taking place on Saturday and then a partynextdoor concert on Sunday .. Not a bad bday weekend
Man that sounds like such an awesome weekend! Make sure to take pics for us.

They're still my pick even without Robben

I hate people using the term futbol in the English language. Use football/footie or soccer.

I'd slightly get it if Hispanic people created the sport, but that's not the case.

And not sure if it matters, but I'm also a known La Liga fan boy, so you guys know I love my fútbol  but it has no place in the English language.

It should be called the Football thread (with a soccer ball emoji to be clear ) I'm sure the occasional angry bro will come in here every few weeks arguing that somehow niketalk is America and we should go back to where we came from to play our sissy sport where we just kick a ball around, but imo its the best name for the game.

Actually it's kind of funny, whenever I watch the game played at a low/med level I naturally call it soccer. But the game at it's best and classiest is without a doubt Football  :smokin

Zidane is getting his padawan training on. He first visited Bielsa at Marseille last fall to study his coaching tactics/philosophy, he has now made a pilgrimage to Bayern to check out Pep's.

Would have done that a long time ago but I don't want NFL thread people coming in here bro, that why I spelled it in Spanish. Not trying to get those dudes messing stuff up all the time.

It's on ya'll man, democracy. I'll change the poll.

United kit is :pimp:

There is a club here in the Baltimore "urea" called Maryland United Futbol Club (MUFC). They have MUFC on their shirts with the Maryland flag within the letters. They have black (shown), red, & grey shirts. All of them look better than this United away shirt. This team's kit even has Maryland socks.

I could get an adidas shirt from a local uniform supplier & slap on the United crest & chevy sponsor & it would look like that shirt.

For me, it just doesn't fit for a club of this stature.

Funny, I have a feeling the cost of the United deal, loss in market share, & financial loss had a huge hand in adidas not renewing it's NBA uniform deal.

^ I agree for the most part, but I'd take a "soccer elitist" over an nfl fan meat head any day.

Minnesota got the expansion team for 2018. And the waiting for Sacramento to get one continues...
